I am frustrated and I know some of you guys are also. I think we should track our shipments together rather than be on the other thread where everyone's has shipped. I am tired of reading about the bragging .. shut up already.

Thanks a lot Apple for shipping iPads that were clearly ordered after mines.
 
Please comment in your post if you got the free engraving or not.. this may be the deciding factor as when orders are being processed and shipped. See post by drknowusa in this thread.:D

Anybody who is "furious" needs to:

A) Look at a calendar. Today is the second business day since you placed your order. That means you have until Friday morning before you should even be the slightest bit disgruntled, nevermind furious.

And

B) Turn on CNN. There are thousands dead from one of the worst earthquakes in the modern era. An entire nation in Asia is very legitimately terrified of an impending nuclear catastrophe, the affects of which would last for generations. People lost their loved ones on Friday. You ordered an iPad 2. Be thankful that you even draw breath. Turn off your computer, take stock of your life, and calm down. You're acting like a petulant child.

I understand that people lost their life and they are having a hard time over in japan right now.. But I hate to say this and I hope it really doesn't come across the WRONG way but my life will go on with what happened in japan.. I made a donation to the red cross and I prayed for the families.. Other than that nothing more I can do so I move forward.... I feel for them but me being all the way in NJ there is nothing I can do..


I am thankful for what I have.. I am a lucky person.. I don't even want to imagine what they are going through, but that changes nothing about what's going on in my household or my state.. We all have problems...

agreed .. our lives aren't going to stop because of what happened. I made a donation also and I've prayed but what more can we do. Without the disaster in Japan, this still would have been a big screw up and then what would people be saying.

1) I am entitled to the item I purchased with my money. I did not wait in line because I am in the middle of nowhere Michigan and no authorized dealers are within a reasonable drive for me. So I ordered online, and was promised fast and free shipping.
2) People who placed their order after me are getting theirs shipped before me. Let's analogue this to a physical store shopping scenario: If the person who is 50th in line gets their's before you (5th in line), how are you going to feel?

This is a forum to discuss such issues...I'm not really seeing how my previous comments related to you or in any way affected your life. Why you feel the need to attack them or me is interesting. This is an online forum...let's keep it in perspective. Don't let it ruin your day.

Interesting. I ordered the same model as you at actually a minute before you but yours is engraved and mine is not. I wonder if there is something to the notion that engraving orders come directly from China and some of the non-engravig ones may come from USA Stock later in the week.
