Or if he practices his yoga, he could use a toe.

I have entirely too much time on my hands.

Is that a joke?

I suppose in Gary's case it would be too much time on his stubs. :D

Lovely drawing btw, but I pictured it more like Gary holding the camera with his stubs and his leg coming over his shoulder so that he could use his big toe to press the button.

I tried to wean myself off of MacRumors once, went on a cruise...it worked for the first few days, but then I was back.

Even when I went to Europe for 10 days, I found a computer and logged on.

it was completely not readable because I was on a european keyboard. It looked like I was on a drunken MR spamfest. :(

I'm not on MacRumors that much anyway. I like posting on these boards though, everybody here is very nice and friendly, unlike other message boards I go to

A dead tie when I voted. All 11's.

I could quit, but so far MR has had no effect on me hanging out, working or getting things done.

I've gone weekends without checking.... does that count?

of course it usually means I'm out of town or we have guests that need entertaining.

of course my paltry 755 posts at least makes me feel like I'm not addicted...

of course I probably have 2x that in the Political forum

Maybe I should ask to be banned
That wouldn't work. As punishment for thinking of leaving, we would deny your request.

So does the universe implode if you ask to be banned and then go insult someone?

well, there was a certain period of time in which i couldn't post, which was terrible. i will also be at camp in northern michigan for 4 weeks later this summer. i guess i can kiss my posts per day average goobye:(

I've tried to leave temporarily but I always come back within a day or two. There are days that I'm so busy that I don't check ... but first time I sit at the computer I start at MR! I once tried to give it up for lent, that lasted 2 days!

oh well, I'm addicted. How about you?

Notice that I was absent this week for a couple days or so. But I am back - for better or worse. :D

I hardly checked the site after I had a baby, especially when he got sick -- I was too busy, and really didn't miss it. It's just something to do when you have too much time on your hands (or your stubs).

Hope your child is doing better. Sometimes sharing in the tough moments of life can provide some comfort. I know it has for me and others.
