Many people are still waiting for their preorders to arrive. Why do people expect to see many iPhone 6 Plus's out in the wild already? Besides, I've never been the one to show off what I just bought in public. I think it's very pompous and arrogant. I keep my 6 Plus in my pocket at all times until I need to use it or it rings.

I was actually talking about this with my fiancé last night. The only other plus we have seen out in public was a couple that was in line behind us at Starbucks. They had a gold and silver one but other than those two I haven't seen any another 6+s. I do see a lot of 6s though

In general I haven't seen many of the new iPhones. I think maybe four iPhone 6 and one 6 Plus. Then again, college students can't always afford to upgrade right away anyway unless they prioritise it above other things like going out for a couple of weekends. (which ended up being totally worth it for me)

I seen mine in the wild everyday.

I'm sure there are plenty of people still waiting on their pre-orders. It'll get worse since I'm sure Apple is adding reinforcement around the volume buttons to prevent more bendgate videos and class action lawsuits. If I find out they are doing this quietly, I'll be asking for a replacement just in case.

I think I've only seen one other 6 in public and that was a regular 6. I've also not had anyone randomly ask me about my Plus, which has kind of surprised me. But that's ok, I'm not sure how many stupid comments about bezels and bending I can handle.

I don't live in a metro area, no Apple Stores, and I would imagine the phone is still fairly hard to come by around here.

Here in Vegas I work in a casino and I've seen many 6 and 1, 6 plus which I also have. I asked the gentlemen if he thought it was too big he said yeah but it was a nice phone but hurt his hand while holding it but was hoping he would get used to it.

Well clearly you know somebody has a small you know what
Honestly I find holding the Plus much more comfortable. With the previous devices the size cause me to have to clutch my hands tighter to keep it from slipping out. The Plus falls naturally in my hands and I’m not even that tall. Just average 5’9 with average hands.

We tend to be hidden amongst society. We don't like to reveal ourselves unless needed to. We are the Plus society of Apple, and they'll never find us alive!!!

I keep mine in my pocket unless I need it so people don't come up to me asking to see my phone. Granted, I use it when I want to and I think a lot of people are just used to large phones now or seeing them that it just passes for another one. I have a black Spigen Thin Fit case on it so you can't even see the back of the phone. All black.

I haven't either but honestly I don't pay much attention to others phones... I did see a girl on the subway with a 6 and only noticed because she was typing away like crazy and standing next to me.

I've seen one other one besides mine. I don't try to show it off or anything. When people see it, they don't realize its an iPhone and I don't make it a big deal. When I was in Best Buy on launch day however, people were acting a little crazy wanting to hold it and try it out. Nope.

I saw a man and woman at a restaurant using the 6+ on a call...everyone was laughing and saying, "hey look these people talking into a pizza box!"

kidding...

Plenty of people saw mine for a few days... but so many of them bothered me to hold it that I've started keeping it in my pocket so people don't ask about it. I don't need some stranger dropping it for me.

I think the Plus is still pretty rare (comparatively) due to supply issues.

When I took a flight on Sunday several people asked me about my Plus. They were all blown away and wanted to hold it, etc. lol

:apple:

I find it hilarious that so many people in this thread say they have random people coming up to them to ask to hold their phones..are you all joking or is it just family and friends asking about it.

In all my years of owning a phone I've took notice of what random people are using and have never been approached to touch my phone.

I guess my lowly regular 6 doesn't have the same charm the big 6 has...for you single people out there, maybe it's a good way to pick up women?

If I wasn't married, I think I'd get the big 6 and use it to pick up chicks after seeing this thread..

Haven't seen any around Phoenix yet except mine. However, I keep mine under wraps a bit and try not to make it obvious that it's a 6 Plus. So maybe others are doing the same.

I have not seen either outside of the guy in the Apple store whipped out his 6 Plus to show me. All I seem to see is 4s and 5's. I guess it's still rather early.
