Help beta test new Facebook reader app

Will final release allow more than one page of live feed. Other apps allow the viewer to see older posts. I only get one page and a small bit on second page
There is a fix in there now that increases the feed to show the last 50 posts (or 30 days). Unfortunately 50 is the most FB are giving out in their API right now.
I just released a new version that has the fix for the news feed (increasing it to 100 feeds) and image upload support.
However, I don't have an iPad 2 yet so if anyone has one and is on the beta list please let me know if the camera upload works (tap share, upload photo and then tap camera).

Feeds a major improvement but my home button still only brings up friends page after a swipe
Kevin - is there anyway to send me some screenshots of what is happening? I have been unable to reproduce the problem.

Not much to show. Touch home button=blank screen. Swipe screen then and friends page appears. At least its consistent and always does this. Surely someone else must be getting the same?

Hello there, your post caught my eye and I would be more than glad to test out the beta of your Facebook app.
I, like others am still looking for the perfect app, and yours certainly looks different and frankly, looks awesome based on the pics. I registered with TestFlight, so I would be happy to receive the email with the DL instructions/link.

I'm not on your beta list but would love to be. I have an iPad 2 and would be happy to test the photo uploaded for you. Let me know if I can be of assistance.
^Ditto. I as well have w iPad 2, and would help giving feedback with the camera portion of the app.
I know you've addressed this already with the friends section but why on an app such as mypad I can select friends and go to their page without leaving the app. In yours I'm redirected to the Facebook site which is pointless. I know you mentioned it's to do with permissions but others have got around the problem. Btw as I see it, I've only two issues remaining with your app and having used it for a month, I reckon you're on a winner. I hardly ever bother using any of the others any more. Great work

I sent out a build to one of you, not sure who was who, one of you hadn't updated your device ID in TestFlight. So if you didn't get the email, open TestFlight up on your iPad and it should update the device, then I can send you out a build.

Hey didn't know you released the app! I went and bought it, and it's amazing. There are a few quirks that need to be ironed out that are minor, but I'm sure you may already be working on them. Here is what I noticed.
1. Clicking on the persons profile opens up their page via Safari.
2. Can't upload/post video/photos/links in status updates.
3. When you click the comments button to see comments made, you aren't able to see which people "liked" the post. It just says "6 Likes"
4. I am guessing it reloads every time I open the app, but maybe adding a clock stating when it was last updated would help?
5. Minor little thing --> Swiping across friends list is a tiny bit slow and not 100% smooth, I would say it's about 90%.
Aside from those things, the app will most likely be a huge hit.

The feeds should only refresh automatically if the app has been in the background or not used for over an hour, it should otherwise not refresh.

Certainly not bad at all.
Another thing I found in many FB apps, that you can't like specific comments, is that because if the API prohibits you or something?
Yeah the API for liking comments is not straightforward, but I have figured it out. I'm working on improving the comments feature, may or may not make it for next update though, but I'll try..
Just bought this, very nice app. There are a couple of bugs/issues I've come across (I'm using 4.3.1):
1) When you open the app in landscape mode, the logo displays in portrait orientation.
2) When I tried the Facebook Connect process, the Facebook Connect window got hidden or blocked somehow. I had to go into Safari and manually tap on the window to connect the app.
3) Wouldn't the News Feed actually be the Live Feed? I had one post larger than he others, is that a feature? Sorry if this has been answered
4) When you open someone's recent picture and then tap go back to the News Feed, the picture stays open and covers the News Feed.
5) A suggestion, maybe add a transition animation coming back to the News Feed from the individual posts.

How's Chat coming, it seems everyone is having a hard time getting it right, even Facebook itself Haha. Whenever you get a chance, feel free to send me a build, as I am very intrigued to try out the latest build!
