She reminds me of an old grandma who still thinks she's 20.
She also looks like the female version of Tim Cook who probably thinks he is 20. That alone may be the reason why Tim chose her over many suitable candidates.
She should have been a warden in a private school and Tim should've been a bank ambassador. Both of them look like they have very little interest in tech. One is more into fashion than retail and the other one likes visiting clerks and comatose them with his crawling words.

...and dropping a box with merchandise after that.
not to mention the entropy in that van

When I was a college kid, nigh on 3 decades ago, I spent a few winters working as a UPS drivers assistant during the holiday rush. The amount of money you could make in a couple weeks thanks to overtime was insane. In the weeks leading up to Christmas when you first headed out on your truck you couldn't even open up the back without a handful of packages falling out. They literally jammed the trucks so full that there was no space inside until after you made a dozen or so deliveries. And half way through the day you'd meet up with another truck and load even more packages to be delivered.

But it’s not just women! As a guy I can recall several occasions where people called out my attire TO MY FACE, let alone things people haven’t said. You wackos wanna be equal? Quit posting stuff like this. As for relevant comments, she’s not a good leader. Much like Tim she’s all hype.
Sure, men sometimes get criticized for what they wear too, but not to the same degree.

There's been two threads about her in the past two days, and both threads have been full of criticisms of her clothing, completely unrelated to the topic at hand. What she's wearing isn't even outrageous or in bad taste, it's just criticism of her having taste. "Oh, she likes fashionable clothes, she must not be good at business."

Bill Gates had the same stupid haircut and sweater for 30 years, and no one gave a ****.

Exactly. Shaking my head as I'm reading some of these comments about Angela. No male Apple executive goes through this kind of scrutiny on MacRumors based on the brand of his jacket.

probably for most of the fans around, it is because it's an 180 degree turn of what SJ infused and projected; jeans & a turtleneck.

then again, there's Eddy Cue. I am sure you will find far worse about him if you dive deeper into the forums.

I'm sure the iPhone 8/8+ is a perfectly nice iPhone, but it has been relegated to iPhone SE status (in terms of excitement and anticipation) by the iPhone X. Calling it the iPhone 8/8+ really sets the expectations too high for what it actually is relative to the 7/7+. Apple really should have stuck with 7s / 7s+, especially in the looming shadow of the iPhone X, which when detaching oneself from the hype, should well and truly be called the iPhone 8, a major update? absolutely, but an update that leapfrogs multiple generations? Sorry, but no.

Again, who gives a ****? Steve wore what he wore, she wears what she wears. Does their clothing affect how they do their job? Or would you be more comfortable if she came out dressed like some frumpy middle manager?

I don't know what I find more amusing about this video - the UPS guy opening the back of the van exposing packages strewn all over the floor having fallen off the storage shelves or an executive from Apple talking about giving people a choice.

like it or not, clothes project and have an impact on others.
some people subconsciously like or dislike a person from their garments of choice. this can be attributed to social positioning, geography and so on.

I have no issue with what she wears. on the contrary and for what it's worth, I like her clothing, but that does not make me like her.

No no no no no. I was mistreated by restaurant wait staff last night because I was wearing work clothes. I have dined there before dressed to the nines and been treated very well. That’s discrimination. Angela is a fashionista wannabe that thought it would be a good idea to release the original Apple Watch, a fashion accessory people wear, as online only for the first few months. She’s got no business sense.

BTW - another sexist comment. If Craig walks in with a $500+ Prada Button Down Shirt with $500 jeans NOBODY BATS AN EYE....

But i suppose Moderators don't want me to call it but their okay with the comments.

You have clearly missed the very, very many posts commenting on Eddy and his fashion...

Don't try and make this out to be something it isn't.

Interesting - to me this indicates that Apple is getting somewhat desperate for attention when they enable this kind of advertainment content.

IMO the iPhone X is a huge let-down. Aesthetically it looks like something that Samsung would have made 5 years ago - that awkward face recog display bump - FWIW I consider the iPhone 5 to be the pinnacle of design, and nowhere near the revolution that the iPhone 1 was.

The iPhone 8 is fine, but nothing particularly exciting. TC needs to create fake media buzz to have Apple stay relevant, and this produced "behind the scenes" will get him air/internet play.

Looks like a boiler room operation. The expression on their faces read like they're thinking, "Who's going to fall for a four year old design?"

This is rather strange because why did my iPhone come from Harrisburg PA, and then go through Dulles, and Kentucky?

I mean, they could have staged the process IN Kentucky, and saved a lot of drama I'm thinking. Or did mine come from Apple Store stock? Is Harrisburg a huge container port?

Whatever.

My 8+ is likely to be in that HUGE bolus of product moving through the colon of UPS's Kentucky hub.

Awesome behind the scenes video. Angela Ahdrents is a really impressive individual as well. I forget what podcast it was but they mentioned that she continues to remain a style icon as well. Really awesome woman.

Yes, because staged media events* are the best indication of a person's character.

*Please don't tell me you believe this is really "behind the scenes" along with "reality TV" and "Jerry Springer"

wow they must have been pretty disappointed with the iphone 6ss launch.

I love apple products but calling it an iphone 8 is just lipstick on a pig.

what do you guys think?
It’s a fast pig, with awesome vision, according to independent reviews.

Not the label I would put on such a device, but, everyone is entitled to their opinion ;) .

Best rated phone camera ever, definitely better than the 7 which was a good camera. Wireless charging using an open standard. Support for HDR which Netflix has already jumped on. New chips supporting AR which is going to be VERY BIG going forward. So, I don't agree with your "lipstick on a pig" analogy but if it makes it better for your imagination who am I to call you out?
Good point, that 7 + camera was no slouch.

All the carping about her style.

Style is something that many people take very seriously. A friend of mine in college dated a girl that everything had to match. Underwear all had to match, same color, manufacturer, line. Then the color of her underwear had to match what she wore. No black bra under white shirts for her. He wanted to go out on a weekend spur of the moment thing, and she didn't have clean matching underwear, and refused to go. Is that wrong? I married a girl that cares that the naughty bits are covered. She couldn't care less that the bra matches the panties, in color or manufacturer.

There is nothing wrong with a stylish woman. If you are harping on that part of Angela's personality, bark at the moon. And maybe get some style yourself. It's so damn easier for men, and yet in the animal world, it's the males of the species that are usually the most flamboyant, and colorful. What a screaming joke it would be if that was the sudden demand in human males.

Lay off the woman bashing...

I see Tim Cook did an interview with CNBC at an Apple store. I’m not exactly sure why. it’s just feeding into this false media narrative that Apple stores should have people lining up around the block today. If he feels the need to do interviews do it when the X goes on sale.
