Does Apple slowly say "Bye Bye" to it`s customers now with the release of this printed book? It seems like they feel it is the right time now to present this book to the masses before they start to loose more and more customers or fans.

Good news is this is the cheapest MacBook they've ever made.

The numbers don't add up to me. They started designing the book 8 years ago. The book covers 17 years. You're telling me they started designing it halfway into finishing the stuff that is depicted?
Since you bought this book I guess it's safe to assume that you'd buy anything that's from Apple. Apple really needs customers like yourself otherwise they'd gone bankrupt a while ago.

Fair enough, but because of dedicated customers like this is part responsible for why Apple products getting worse every year. And I don't like it.

Each to his own. But isn't it that these kind of books companies used to give out for free to promote their products, not charging money for it let alone a whooping $300. The ridiculous meter has been all time high for Apple this year.

I like Apple products as much as the next guy but this sounds crap.
I'd rather have a book from Ferrari about their designs and the proceeds and prototypes that led to them and I don't even like Ferraris. Just seems there'd be more substance.

Book's a rip off. Would have been closer to being worth it if they'd explained the design choices behind the products within, (I'd be especially interested to hear about the mouse, pencil and phone case pictured earlier).
It's an ART BOOK.
You don't own any, do you? A 450-page book of this sort is not cheap to create or manufacture.
It has nothing to do with the quality of their hardware. It's a BOOK.
It will once Apple holds a press conference to convince everyone that paper is the most advanced method of distributing content.
You guys are hilarious. Apple makes a book and suddenly it's art and it's the best quality book ever made. They could design a salt shaker and sell it for $500 and you guys would argue about how innovative it is and how the quality justifies the price. Oh ya and don't forget to point out since you have the funds, that somehow explains and justifies your silly Apple fetish.
