Just saw this, apple confirming GM is same as public
But my question is this: I removed the beta profile after updating to the GM. Will I still be able to download the official iOS 14 (whenever that may be)? I understand it’s “the same”, but since the build numbers are different, will it see it as an update?

I believe the numbers will be the same. Regardless, if the actual build is the same... what’s the problem?

no, GM is same as public. You have the public version of iOS 14 now

From my experience in past betas, no…you'll stay on GM until the next point update.

Why give a time if you are going to be off by hours?

Augh... I'm a school librarian and I'm worried that the apps for my kids aren't going to be compatible. I'm itching to update my work iPad so I can start testing them before our kids go up to 14.

Apple it's 9:35pm here, are you going to make me wait until tomorrow!
Hey it's already tomorrow here at 1.08 AM.. Will wait for another 22 mins and then give up. It is a workday and have an early day tomorrow
