Why do all cases have a cutout for the logo? I buy iPhones because I find them the best to use. I have no interest in showing off that I have one.
Because if they didn't someone would post on Macrumors that cases should have a cutout for the logo.

Perhaps I am a minorty here, but I use my iPhone without a case, at least where I can appreciate the design more. However, The September Keynote really needs to get here. I'm ready to see what this new iPhone is all about.

Well if the back is really glass, you'd probably want a case unless you want to show off spiderweb cracks

I really, really, really hope that the camera lens on final product looks better than these prototype/dummy models.
Cause right now that lens looks unbelievably out of place and just disgusting..
It really shouldn't protrude that much at this point, look at S8 camera lens for gods sake..what is this mess?

The question I have on my mind about the new iPhone; I understand rumours are saying it's NOT going to have a USB-C port, and will use USB-C to lightning for quick charge, but if it actually had a C port, it would be a day one buy from me. I love the huge amount of features this is gonna get, but USB-C would seal the deal for me. convenience is extremely important, especially if you like to use wired headphones and have all C type devices.

It would have other advantages too, such as being able to connect it up to a TV using a Macbook's USB C hub for example, if Apple actually allowed that.

After not using a case for the last several years, I could never go back to a case. Cases add bulk, hide the design, and judging by the number of people with cases using phones with cracked or shattered screens, don't really help protect the phone.
Have you not considered people have them in a case BECAUSE they shattered the screen? What about this phone is going to be more durable? Because glass is not more durable than aluminium, especially with that camera bump...

ugly as hell – looks like missing the front panel while looking inside the (construction)frame
– but yes, it is mainly the SW what matters ;-)

I still can't believe they're continuing to give us the "lens hump" instead of making the phone *slightly* thicker. The extra space could be filled with more battery and make the overall design look and FEEL more substantial. The current phones are so thin they can be difficult to hold with one hand and operate. Opportunity lost.

P.S. I don't like cases. They weigh the phones down and make them look junky.

The white front looks really distracting compared to the black front :(
They should have made the copper or whatever color with a black front as well. If I end up buying this, looks like the black one is the only option.

Case or no-case, design still looks like crap. Tim Cook at it again, trying to keep up with the competition by forcing new features into an old Jobs-era design.

I'm really hoping the rumors are wrong about the new iPhone's screen. An iPhone without a home button is an automatic no-buy for me.
