That’s not a universal view. There have been a number of studies recently finding that properly used AI improves the accuracy of human doctors in medical diagnosis. I’m not a doctor myself, but had an appointment with a medical specialist the other day who is already openly using AI in his practice.
Yeah, I don't understand why people seem to think it's all or nothing. "I have a patient presenting symptoms X, Y, Z, what are some ideas?" seems pretty reasonable. I used an LLM to help me create some legal text this morning. Notice I said 'help', not do it and me not review.

last year, iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max were basically sold out everywhere near me within a couple of hours.

this year, it seems very strange that iPhone 16 Pro Max in all colors(except black) and 256gb or 512gb are still widely available for Sept. 20 pick-up at 3 or 4 Apple Stores around me.

does this mean there's a lot less demand? or did Apple make too many iPhone 16 Pro Max?
Pro Max for me is out to October 7 and unavailable in the local store for pickup.

Maybe they got their distribution wrong. Here in Australia, shipping dates for the 16 Pro Max slipped back a week within a few minutes of orders opening.
