Ugh. Everything else was smooth as heck with iOS 15 RC build but now that you mentioned that I tried the setting for Music and it’s a no go. I agree. Wait until 15.x now.
This can’t be the public version they wouldn’t allow it would they?

I've never done a fresh install or reset. I started from iPhone 3GS and went through numerous updates and transfer to new phones with the same copy and never had any problem or slowdown or battery drain. But not everyone has the same experience.

It's not like a Windows upgrade, where your registry settings get clogged up over time.

Servers will be overloaded tomorrow. I hope everyone’s ready!

I doubt they will be overloaded. The guts of Apple upgrades are delegated to Content Delivery Networks around the globe, which are well geared up to supplying vast amounts of data.

Where Apple had a noticeable problem in the past was one of the early iOS upgrades, where numerous people were trying to get their upgrade approved and Apple didn't have enough authentication servers to do do the job. That was a long time ago, mind you.

The more pressing question is — how long are they going to let iOS 14 be installed on a newly acquired older device? Like a refurbished iPhone for example. A lot of us don't want to get near any new version of iOS until the Spring.

Just installed the RC, didn’t do any of the betas. Will take time to get used to Safari. Generally seems fine to me. iPhone 12 Pro here.

I'll have to upgrade towards the afternoon, I got a doctor's appointment tomorrow and looking back, I should've gotten the 10 AM slot. 🤣 Instead, as noon CDT rolls around, I'll be busy.
