I’m still on a iPhone SE (2016) here.If you have an iPhone 6s and you are upgrading to iOS 15, you are my hero.
Will it make my device slower? I can't wait for an upgrade that would make it faster.

Smh. Nice clickbait Macrumors
He is 100% right. I’ve experienced no problems throughout betaNo chance
Unless Apple says that, it isn’t what’s supposed to happen. According to a lot of people we were supposed to get an Apple Watch with flat edges. Unless an Apple employee says it, I don’t believe it.supposed to drop at 10AM PT
Battery drain almost 100% related to settings background apps and logging. There were only 1 or 2 releases that used battery faster, but if you are worried just hold off for a bitI've never done a fresh install or reset. I started from iPhone 3GS and went through numerous updates and transfer to new phones with the same copy and never had any problem or slowdown or battery drain. But not everyone has the same experience.
Usually Apple will stop “signing” installs of the previous iOS about a week after release, though since Apple has now announced they will continue to support older iOS versions for security updates, it is unknown how deep that support is.The more pressing question is — how long are they going to let iOS 14 be installed on a newly acquired older device? Like a refurbished iPhone for example. A lot of us don't want to get near any new version of iOS until the Spring.
Why is it working for me? Seriously it works fine for me.Ugh. Everything else was smooth as heck with iOS 15 RC build but now that you mentioned that I tried the setting for Music and it’s a no go. I agree. Wait until 15.x now.
I think there is something odd about the post. It works fine for meThis can’t be the public version they wouldn’t allow it would they?
I think that might be made up, it works greatBut it’s not fine. See the post above about not being able to get into the Music settings.
Check the background refresh and logging settings, as always for a battery issue on updatei hope there are some additional bug fixes from the RC. My mini 12 battery has taken an absolute beating since installing it last week.
The 12th of Never! There are always bugs in every release…Yes, but when will the .1 version without the bugs get launched?
I remember that, there were some serious carrier issues. I had to update network settings for AT&T and they had screwed up some of there network for a protocol changeA previous iOS update caused widespread reception issues. I'm certainly not the only one who's experienced it.
This process always irked me, I mean why is a previous OS version unable to transfer to a new one. I don’t remember this being the case with macOS.I will be updating since my new phone will be here Friday and restoring from backup requires the same OS version.
I think MacRumors is relying on the history of new OS version releases over the past several years. Apple has a long history of releasing them around 10am PT, unless there is an unexpected snafu like last year. “Around“ 10am PT means it could be a few are more minutes afterwards, and of course if too many try to get the release at one time the servers might not allow you to download it until later when demand goes down. But generally speaking, Apple tends to release them starting around 10am PT.Unless Apple says that, it isn’t what’s supposed to happen. According to a lot of people we were supposed to get an Apple Watch with flat edges. Unless an Apple employee says it, I don’t believe it.
It’s not made up. I have an iPhone 12 Pro and the Settings app freezes when I tap on the Music settings.I think that might be made up, it works great
Yes, absolutely. They said as much in the post. I am preempting the inevitable "OMG the update is delayed!" when people don't see it at 1:01 PM ET. They promised that we would get it tomorrow. That's all we actually know.I think MacRumors is relying on the history of new OS version releases over the past several years.
