Hold on! It's improvingggggg . . . . Pretty sure this is just stored on one Mac mini under Jony Ives old desk!

The US internet is being slammed with folks attempting to obtain PS5’s... refresh refresh refresh :) There will be another spike when WalMart starts selling their next batch at 3PM ET.

Let's blame this download fiasco on the millennials also! Everything they touch messes up ... LOL .. j/k. Maybe folks think the new M1 downloads in Big Sur so peeps who never rushed before are slamming servers now?

Anyone know how to find the full download version for a clean install ? not the update version.

Thanks

My 32-core Mac Pro is too slow to download Big Sur. Can't wait for Apple to put AS in the Mac Pro.

I’ve always been an early adopter, after all some of us have to be the guinea pigs don’t we?

In 17 years of being a Mac user, I’ve actually never had issues with upgrading on the day of release! Only time I’ve had an issue was when I upgraded my wife’s 2012 MBP to 10.15 4 months after its release as she couldn’t be bothered upgrading from 10.13 until I did it for her...
I always update early and have never really had any major issues. Some minor bugs occasionally but nothing that stopped me from getting my work done.

Exactly, I think a lot had to do with the fact Steve J cracked the whip back in the day. Quality has def declined since.

Doesn't look like it's gonna happen anytime soon boys and girls. Installations keep failing. This is quite a disappointment

Mine died a few times, and now all I get is an Installation Error, An error occurred while installing the selected updates message.

Is there a special way to start over?

Something's seriously not right, reported download in Software Update doesn't match what's actually been downloaded...
e.g. Software Update: 10.14GB downloaded... Actual traffic: 3.4GB
