So turn it off... it's optional. And thanks for deciding what we all want for us.Go back to the way it was. Nobody needs the battery indicator visible all the time. It only creates an unhealthy compulsion to stare at it.
K byeTime to abandon Apple and get a dumb phone? I think so 😢
Would be so much better at the size on the right picIt's optional.

Right, but what I was getting at is, it doesn’t have to be both. Why try and smush a battery icon and % together when Apple could just give people the option of displaying a battery icon, or a %. Having both displayed seems redundant, but that’s just me.It's optional.

There is no room. Well there is room if you want to make fonts and elements so small that you need microscope to see them, otherwise no, there is no roomJust go back to the old version where the percent is outside of the icon. And stop lying about how much room you have to work with.

😂
Do all these people still not realize that it’s in beta? If anyone is gonna perfect a design in their UI, it’s gonna be Apple.
There’s nothing “controversial” about this. And if they decide to leave it like it is, so be it. I’m good.

How so? The battery itself doesn't drop like it used to.Go back to the way it was. Nobody needs the battery indicator visible all the time. It only creates an unhealthy compulsion to stare at it.
“ design could be better “ when a $90 android phone has this feature YEA , IT SHOULD BE BETTER.It’s silly to complain about such a minor thing. Design could probably be better, but I’m just happy that this feature is avaible again.
That's actually a great idea. But Apple likes it keep it simple. It might be too complicated for them.Proposals:
1. Have the green battery full green outline inside the white the whole time it’s green, and only show part empty for yellow and red.
2. Have colored outlines inside white (or black depending on wallpaper) for battery color with no indication of full or empty.
