Interesting. The photos on the Apple Store don’t show this properly. It does look like the perforations have been modified around the standard holes.

I can’t get the band then as I’d need that additional hole too

Verizon makes you serve out the cycle, you can’t just switch willy nilly with them

I'd like some opinions regarding the Noir Gourmette Double Tour. I have a 45mm stainless steel hermes watch and I really want the Noir Gourmette. It looks like only the 41mm is available. What's your opinion on just getting the 41mm and wearing that on my 45mm watch?

I contacted Hermes via email and they said they anticipate 45mm Gourmette "sometime in the future" but who knows when that could be.

That's because you didn't see the daylight hitting in motion lol!!! It really does photograph well but in real life in motion I fear I would blind myself trying to give someone the time... and them too! Maybe if the chain was shorter or my arm was bigger...

I do like the look very much which is why I was SO excited when they announced it; I just wish it was more subtle.

I'm sticking with the Noir guys. I love love love love love it!

The SS links do appear much larger and bling-ier than in the Apple renders. I think on the SS case it would harmonize better:

(Pop of bright steel case)—(ribbon of soft black leather)—(elegant turned links of bright steel)

rather than

(Abyss of inky black metal)—(ribbon of soft black leather)—(elegant turned links of bright steel)

The most important thing is whether you love it. It’s unquestionably well made, but if you don’t adore it, return it (and enjoy the noir gourmette)!

That's what I figured. Crisis averted though--finally got a chance to open up the SBSS and it turns out I'm not in love with it at all. I guess I'm just a SS type of guy. 🤷‍♂️

Money saved. Or I could just go nuts on a few more bands. 🤔🤔

Thanks for the research @Vangeli ... @Boardiesboi , I'm afraid that we're out of luck here.... 🤦‍♂️ Very sad. I've been waiting for some fresh designs with black hardware for my SBSS and these look amazing :-(. I have a puncher tool at home that I could use but feels very scary... these are not cheap bands and I wouldn't want to ruin it...

Might be worth emailing Hermes and asking them though? I mean they do say it’s all hand made 😛

Never DYI on a Hermes band haha

I would go into a Hermès store and ask them if they can add a hole into the band, then purchase it after confirming.

Specifically I don’t know my exact measurements of my wrist. With the Apple paper print out measurement for the Watch I’m sitting at number 11 (for the nylon solo loop when I checked) and yes it’s the 45mm model.

I’m using the second last hole on the Hermes Leather Band. Feels slightly tight if I bend my wrist around. Hopefully the leather will stretch out a little as I use it.

I ordered the same in 41, my first Hermes, coming from natural Ti.
Pretty excited. Also Apple Store estimated Oct 6-11 but on Saturday it changed to "preparing to ship". Willing to know how long it takes on that stage 😀

This is my first one as well coming from a S2 Space Black Stainless Steel link bracelet Apple Watch.
I always wanted a Hermes model and each year I’d skip it this year I said to my self time to get it (no pun intended lol)

That’s not too bad your eta for shipping and good to hear it’s changed to preparing. I’d say look at your bank account and if you see the pending amount disappear then that’s a good sign they have physically began to pack your Watch for shipment soon.

🙀🙀🙀JUST changed to SHIPPED. Can't believe it. The original estimation was almost a month! And as it has just been shipped from Italy, it may take 1-2 days only 🙀

BTW, includes a sports strap, right? Is it black or Hermes orange? Is the leather strap comfortable? 🥹

Correct yes a sport strap was included with mine and its the black one. I think the black one comes with the Space Black models and the Hermes orange comes with the Silver Stainless Steel models.

Yes the leather strap feels brilliant. Very comfy. For me at the moment its slightly tight but im sure its going to stretch a little over time being leather.

I really want to find that Hermes Woven textile tour band that is black/dark Green but sadly here in Australia no one has the 45 mm one in stock any longer 😞
