i think the bomb question will be answered. they'll probably have another story arc next season, and most of the big questions in this season will be answered in the next two weeks i think.

Yeah, Tim Kring said in Wired that they will finish this story in season 1, and move on to something new in season 2.

good guy vs. bad guys? who's on what team? u really can't tell with this show

Mutants Vs Normal Humans

As for who's in what team on the mutants side, well there aren't any real teams at the moment because there is no need to be.

The people working for the company are just employees, they haven't really picked a side, only picked a career.

any of you guys think claire was marked like matt and ted and some of the others? she was a part of a bag and tag mission, but i assumed her ability healed the mark so nobody notices. i think they know where she is.

no claire wasn't baged and taged. because they didn't know she had powers. her had knew but he did't want them to get ahold of her. so he never told them she had any.

They didn't know she was a mutant until after her dad sent her away with the haitian. I don't think her dad would have let her be tagged before this and she wasn't caught afterwards.

I am so very impressed with the writing on this show. Every plot point that ties into the climax is coming together, the main characters are meeting, and we can see how much they've developed as people as a direct relation to the experiences they are having. To capture all that in a show with a cast that size and make it believable and watchable and ENJOYABLE is a feat. I officially think this is one of the greatest serial tv shows made in a long time.*

*Conditional upon next week. If we find out the whole thing was orchestrated by smurfs, or something equally absurd, I will beat Tim Kring into the ground. Luckily for him that is unlikely.

Absolutely. I feel confident saying, unequivocally, that this show is the best on television right now. I'd put it up against anything. I would hesitate to say it's the highlight of my week, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't wake up on Monday mornings a little happier because Heroes is comin' on later :)

so peters not the bomb? sylar is? or are they different kinds of bombs? it looks like a few shows back.

I don't think you have to worry about that :) Surely they wouldn't string us along with story/writing this good only to pull a massive deus ex machina right at the end. Surely, they know better than that.

ok good point my dear sir, i have to keep in mind this show isn't LOST

I think smurfs must be involved somehow.

This show rocks. What a great episode tonight. I admit I didn't see Linderman's death coming.

Nor did he!

yeah but can't he heal himself, maybe?

I think he can only heal others.

I agree that Lindermann is dead for sure/can only heal others. I'm hoping DL isn't truly dead though it's not looking that way.

I want to know what Candice really looks like. Obviously overweight, but is (s)he necessarily even female? I'm hoping she encounters someone who can see through her disguise. Probably Peter as he was able to see invisible man; so it seems part of taking on the power is becoming immune to it.

My favourite line was in the elevator with Parkman, Bennet, DL, and Jessica, when Jessica goes to Parkman 'Didn't I throw you out a window?' Classic.

And yes, this is the best show currently on air. Maybe tied with Veronica Mars. :D

Oooh, another thought...why didn't Peter pick up the Haitian's power-negating and memory-removing powers? Or at least the former? Or were they never in proximity? Also, shouldn't Peter now have super hearing and other Sylar powers?

and what's with the star picture to ward off Sylar?

I think the star represent the invincible star in Super Mario Bros.

Maybe the Haitian's power negated Peter's sponge power, hence he is not able to absorb Haitian's power.

I'm guessing the bomb will definitely go off. Otherwise, it would render Issac/Sylar drawing useless. Also with the bomb going off, there would be more material to continue the series.

That's only if they don't succeed in killing Syler and stopping him from exploding ;)

I'm curious what would happen if they succeed in killing Sylar, but fail to stop Peter from exploding.

Linderman believes that with Nathan as president, the world will be lead into some kind of golden age after New York blows up and it changes the world for the better, uniting people.

We saw a future where Sylar replaced Nathan as President, New York blew up and the world turned to paranoia and prejudice and locked away everyone with powers and terrorism ensued.

What happens if everything happens the same as before, except this time, Hiro kills Sylar, then Peter accidentally blows up New York?

We saw him alive in the preview for next week, and it was definitely new footage.

She's probably Danny Devito. That's my theory.

I don't think they were ever together. As for the other Sylar powers; I think Peter has to know about a power to use it. He'll automatically use the power if the person is around, but he has to know about the power to use it later.

For example; he gained the ability to fly whenever he was around Nathan, but he never realized that he could fly because he never TRIED flying while he was around Nathan.

Once he knew Nathan could fly, he found he could on his own.

Well, he ONLY knew about Sylar's telekinesis, and that's the only power he gained from him. I suspect that if Sylar starts using his other powers on Peter, Peter'll realize he can use those too.
