Overall, it was a good season ending.. can't wait until the next season. I wonder what they'll have in store for us? Man, Heroes really made my first and second semesters go by.. can't wait for it to do it again next year, haha.

Yeah, it was ok. Good, but not great. I'm not disappointed though, could've used a little more, but they did what they set out to do. I don't usually go for too much action, especially at the cost of story, but I'm still waiting to see the big knockdown, drag out fight between Peter and Sylar. I suspect both will be back next season in important roles, even though that wasn't the original plan.

I don't know, seemed kinda rushed though, and a little anticlimactic.

Wow...can't believe the whole storyline is over :(

I know the show's not over, but it's all been building towards this.

That was awesome. I wish the fight scene could have been done better, but...oh well.

I passed Sylar coming out of the subway today:eek:.
I just told my wife about what happened to you, and we both agreed that if we ran into Sylar coming out of the subway station we'd freak out. :D

But that's a pretty cool celebrity sighting, especially on the day of the season finale.

So it seems Molly set up next seasons atangonist, I wonder who it is? o_O

Dunno- but from that point on I was convinced Sylar would die at the end of the show (of course I'd be wrong).

Couple of things: 1. Did anyone else think that the blood pool where slyar crawled from was shaped kind of like a wolf? (probably grasping at straws)
2. What do y'all think the significance of Hiro going back to the Samurai time period is? He's already got the sword, could it be to discover the meaning of the symbols?
3. Do you think that this next season will involve all the heroes or a new cast + Hiro?
And 4. Do you think Peter/nathan survived?

When I recoconized him, I acted so casaul, didn't gush and didn't spit. He really did stop for a sec and listened. He seemed really cool. Now I have a big crush and the seasons over. :(

Back to the show:

Like other SUPER HERO story lines they go from villian to villian with a different disasters. Slyar can come back to help another villian.

Thought: Nathan dropped Peter before he blew and flew back to safety then Peter regenerated. Both alive?

Generations: Meet all new heroes?

Thinking the same, didn't read your post mattscott.

Generations: Meet all new heroes?
Honestly- I hope not. I want them to flesh out our current cast, maybe add a hero or two here and there, but that's it. I really don't wanna deal with another set of heroes from the Samurai age. I'm thinking that Hiro could possibly end up as the character that his dad told him stories about (I can't remember the name).

Hehe- it's ok, I do it all the time.

Maybe I'm thinking a little to critical here, but with Nathan's power and being able to fly at the speed of sound etc. Would you figure how could his body handle the force and friction of flying that fast. It maybe that it's that whole "since it's his power he wouldn't be affected by it and what not." Or a barriar is around him generated by his power that protects him from the pressure etc, if so perhaps he could survive the explosion if it was happening during the time he is flying or like you had mentioned flew peter up into the sky then let him go. I'm betting though, he stuck with his brother through out that time and accepted whatever was going to happen.

Also I wonder who that person is that molly mentioned, that whenever she would try to find him he could see her.

ok are they kidding me with this BS!!! oh i'm angry! it stunk!

I can see why you'd say that, but I disagree. It was a solid resolution to an excellent story line (even if it was a bit cheesy towards the end).

[following is conjecture with potential spoilers, so I'm whiting it out]
Perhaps my favorite thing about the end is that there's no guarantee anyone is dead. Sylar went back into the sewer (maybe he was the roach?), there's no guarantee that Nathan didn't drop Peter and get out of the way of the blast, Parkman clearly wasn't dead when it ended.
[/end potential spoilers]

All in all - I'm very pleased.

Oh, and does anyone else think the person that Hiro heard all those stories about when he was a kid (the Samurai) is going to turn out to be Hiro himself?

Not quite sure why Peter needed Nathan to fly though.

An interesting point, I hadn't thought of that. I agree with the poster above who said he probably can't use more than one power at a time yet, though.

agreed! i just feel i was short chaged. the slyar/peter fight, i was waiting for something great and nothing! it was just to mundane for my taste. i'm not waiting for next season at all. if that the arch for the next seson, it's a low arc.

Yeah, Sylar sure didn't put up much of a fight. I liked the episode, but as a season ending, some things could have been done a little better (they should have made it 2 hours instead of 1).

Hiro is a TIME TRAVELER he could effect so many. Even himself, why not!
Kudos to everyone with the great ideas. Can't wait for the LOST forum.

Perhaps Peter and Nathans mom is the next bad guy? If the hero thing is genetic she might be packin some hidden powers!

Oh, I think she's definitely packin' hidden heat. And I'm dying to know what her power is. Part of me thinks she's one of the "future painters" (a la Isaac), and that's part of the reason Linderman liked her.

I'm also curious what power Simone's dad had....
And curious who the guy Molly was talking about is....

.....arg, I hate waiting for new seasons to start!

I was tossing around ideas with a coworker.
Sylar might actually be dead and his body was dragged off by the unknown person. Maybe he was still alive and was the roach.

Hiro probably isn't Kensei(?) since you see them together. Kensei is the lone horseman.

Nathan may or may not have survived the explosion but Peter probably did and is somewhere at the bottom of the Atlantic. Their mother definitely has/had a power and is a bad person. Whether Nathan flew Peter to her and she went in the blast, who knows.

The next series is called Generations. We may end up seeing a grown Micah and Molly running around together.

Well, I think we have meet that character or at least they were mentioned at sometime. I really don't think they would mention them without some sort of introduction. That would be really poor thriller writing. (I say them cause we don't know male/female, do we?)

But who is it? I don't think it was anyone at the final scene, obviously. Think back everyone... WHO COULD IT BE?

I seriously doubt that this person has shown up in any of the scenes (unless it's Hiro's father, but I doubt that). My reasoning behind that is most TV show's aren't sure if they are going to last more than a season (I.E. fox only wanted to run 24 for like 13 episodes it's first season, and then reevaluate the show), so they may not have had a plan for next season. I think that the "Man whose worse than the boogey-man" reference may have been thrown in as an idea that recently developed in the writers heads.

I don't know if anyone had mentioned this already, but remember when he came back to life (i think) when he was in the prison cell.

I don't think he was the roach, but maybe it was just a little joke or whatever.. how they "keep killing" him and he seems to always come back... like cockroaches.

I thought it was a great way to end the season. I know a lot of you wanted an epic battle at the end, but I don't’ think that was part of Peter’s character to run around kicking the crap out of people.

On the note of Peter being able to use more than one power at a time, Sylar was able to do it, which leads me to believe Peter still did not have full control of all the different powers inside of him. It is safe to safe it also received a bunch of new powers when Sylar died.

I agree that Sylar may have been dragged into the sewer by the new heavy.

All in all it was a great show. You knew Nathan had to save the day. It would have cast an even darker image on politician who we already know have some major moral issues.

I was a bit surprised as hiro was in a perfect position to swing and decapitate sylar as he slumped over and fell

Well that was what I ment by POOR writting. If they just threw that in. But I dont think so.

They actually have to write a full season and show specs for the second, reguardless if the show is picked up. These big studio heads want to see it all up front. To much compitition out there.

My boss had a small reoccuring role in a series called "Wonderland", a drama about Bellevue in NY, which aired only 3 episodes, cancelled cause it was to edgey. But they shot at least 10 episodes that no one ever saw. :(
