Yet another shade of Space Grey... Come on, this is clearly black!

I think when Apple use the term space gray, they literally mean space which is dark. Add some light and you get different shades of gray.
I have both, both look great but I prefer the Space Grey. I am likely to buy more when Airplay 2 arrives and I think for my home I'll stick to Space Grey for the most part.
Both of mine are white. All my Apple devices are colored white or silver, to me it's the "classic" Apple look.
I looked at both, expecting to prefer the white but ended up deciding on the grey. I think if I end up getting another for another room, I may get white. Essentially, I like them almost equally.

Pretty much the same setup as myself but I’ve gone white........I’m really in two minds though and not sure if u should stick with white for the contrast/stand out or go space grey
Both colors are great, but I chose the space grey. I like the contrast of the colorful Siri lights against the black top. It’s very aurora borealis like.
I'm leaning towards space gray because of the black top and the Siri lights. Imagine the lights on the white top look a little more muted?
From what I noticed in store, yes. And I personally went with Space Grey myself, largely because I have a dusty house and sweaty hands and don't want to stain it.
Having said that, I don't think about the Siri lights much as I'm finding that I rarely even look at it when I'm interacting with it. Now that I've gotten used to it, it has kind of disappeared in to my home set up and is just this ever present source of kick ass music.

I went with Space Gray as all of my electronics are black and the Home Pod blends in nicer on my computer stand.
I like the look of the white a lot, but went with Space Grey for a few reasons.
The "screen" really pops on the black, and looks super muted on the white. And when I saw the white in person at the Apple Store, it already looks slightly grey/yellow from handling. Space Gray may show fingerprints, but it's not going to stain like the white.

Thinking of switching out my white for space grey this weekend. OCD well and truly kicking in. Has a tendency to look dirty depending on the viewing angle. Purely a trick of the light of the outer/darker inner mesh. Heaven forbid it actually did get dirty 
Bought white at first but then bought space grey. They delivered at the same time and the box of the space grey was VERY misleading. Will end up exchanging the white one for another black one.
Kind of wish I was thinking about this when I ordered it. I just order black electronics without thinking. However I think a year or so from now the white might be showing dust that I can't clean off it....
We bought a White one in John Lewis today. they were flying off the shelves - at least three other people bought them in the five minutes we were there. According to the sales guy, most people are going for Space Grey.
