I pay $30 for 1 gb data (but actually it's unlimited), unlimited sms/mms and 300 minutes a month.

Living in Denmark atm :)

Hey,

Same here I am wondering who is ur provider? Tdc?
I have a Smartphone but can't decide on the Data plan, is it a 6month minimum contract?

From Guatemala!

I pay around $75 with Tigo and get:

700 mins talk time
200 msgs
200 mms
1 Gb Data (unlimited but speed restricted after 1Gb)
Insurance 60% phone value.
The handheld was free of charge.

With AT&T we have 4 lines, each with unlimited data, unlimited family text, 700 minutes, free mobile to ANY mobile, $165 plus taxes. We never go over minutes because we each have our google voice numbers in our alist which we use for outgoing calls only to landlines using the GV Connect app.

how are you getting it so cheap? I'm calculating it with AT&T current plans and it's like $100+ more for the exact same plan you're paying for $165 plus tax. I could use some tips ;)

maybe he works there, or has a family member working for At&T?

US$85.00/mo with Verizon Wireless.

700 Shared minutes
Unlimited 3G Data
Unlimited SMS/MMS
Unlimited Mobile-to-mobile

In the UK for a new customer that uses a lot of data the best deal is easily the one plan from 3 mobile. (well i couldn't find any better)

£99/$153 Upfront for 16gb 4S
£35/$54 A month

2000 Any Network Minutes
5000 Texts
Unlimited Data

I'm on prepay with Fido in Canada, I pay a total of $50 a month and get 150 minutes, unlimited texting to Canada and the United States plus 100 MB of data. I could get it for cheaper, but the data is $10, and I'm from the US originally, so I want texting to talk to friends and family there and the $40 a month plan is the cheapest with unlimited international texting.

5GB data, no speed restriction
5 hours talk
unlimited SMS & MMS
$25/month

edit: and I believe that makes mine the best value so far.

No not really, what did you pay for your phone?

I think people need to say what they paid for their phone or these comparisons are useless.

iPhone 4
$199 + tax ($250)

AT&T
Voice: $40
Data: $25
No text plan (only iMessage)
Minus 20% company discount (only on voice)
Total: $57

I'm very fortunate. My company has an AT&T discount (both hardware and service), a texting reimbursement, and the icing on the cake is that I'm a remote worker (based out of my house) so they reimburse my Internet fees. /brag

However, I'm the 99% and don't manage to save any money. :(

I pay €20 ($28) a month for:
- 1GB internet (3.6mbps)
- 200 text messages or 400 minutes (2 text messages equal 1 minute)

The iPhone 4 itself (16GB) set me back €230 in November 2010.

Been debating whether I should just buy the iPhone 4S outright for £499 and use Giffgaff but I saw this deal and just ordered it. Just doesn't feel right spending £499 all in one go for a phone.

T-Mobile
600 Minutes
Unlimited Texts
Unlimited Internet (500MB cap for downloading and streaming though)
£35 per month
Free 16GB White iPhone 4S

I'm happy with that. Anything more than £35 a month though and I surely would have just got the phone outright.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A405 Safari/7534.48.3)

Mine is actually a bit high. I pay 39.99 for my voice plan (but I do get a 20% discount) + $45 (tether, I wasn't inlove with my unlimited data so I let it go so I can tether my iPad Wifi (the cheaper one, didn't want two bills just to hold onto the unlimited data and I don't want to jailbreak. Also I pay $20 for unlimited messaging and $4.99 for Smart Limits (which is totally worth every penny. I used to get tons of unwanted calls, spoofed international telemarketers. I've blocked all of their spoofed numbers. No more calls at all hours of the night, day. Lastly $6.99 for insurance (in addition to AppleCare+, I got it primarily for the stolen/theft option. Peace of mind really)

39.99-20% + 45 + 20 + 6.99 = 102.99 (plus taxes + and other fees)

Probably more than you needed to know. It's high but I can afford it.

Here in the UK runs me around £30.00 per month. (around $45 ish) For this I get 10Mb data, 1000 texts and 500 calling minutes....More than enough for my needs.

I know back home you guy's have limited choice and have to pay a bit more, but a close friend in MA is with Verizon for everything (Phone landline Mobile TV) he has uncapped BB but not sure what he pay's....Will ask next time we speak.

More choice in the UK, but I'd better get used to things over there as I'm planning on returning home in the New Year.

10mb??? I would use that in a matter of seconds.

He must have left out an extra zero. 10 Mb just can't be enough.

10 MB is plenty if you have wifi most of the time, or browse the internet on your computer mostly. unless you are streaming audio or video, most other things people do on phones don't take too much data.

I pay $82 a month which is quite steep. Messaging should be included in data. I wish I could get a cheaper plan since I don't use as many minutes as I'm paying for. I believe I have over 5k rollover minutes. I wish there were more options for plans but almost all of the carriers would come out to about the same price.

You must have some grandfathered discounted deal. Going on AT&T's website, the cheapest I can come up with is $180+tax. That is ONLY 200MB data on each phone. Bump that up to 2GB per phone and it's $220+tax. 4GB per phone makes it $300+tax. There is no unlimited data option.

I'm grandfathered into unlimited data for each line and get FAN discount on data on each line. I get free unlimited family text as part of a FAN deal.

$45 primary line(700 minute family plan)
$30 for 3 additional lines
$90 4 lines of unlimited data($22.50/line)
Mobile to any mobile

what company do you work for? does your fan include the any mobile anytime and the unlimited text?

I realize looking at all these posts that here in the US we still have it pretty good but one commonality i found is all these companies US and abroad are basically ripping off the customers and taking advantage and capping such features like text, data, talk time, roaming, and its a FACT considering I worked for Sprint for a long time, that these features cost these companies NOTHING

58 last month for

2gb date
unlimited text
unlimited calling to cellphones on any carrier
450 minutes to landlines/able to rollover.

450 scared me but I already rilled over 105 minutes so by the 3rd month I should have more than enough emergency minutes. And I still did this while at my house where I have the house phone, which I could have easily used and saved the minutes. But if you got em,use em I say.

I paid full price for my phone upfront. Currently I have 2 degrees pre-pay sim installed, will see how it goes for me. For $14 us a month I can get 2500 texts, 30 minutes talk and 50mb data. I live in a fairly well connected area with plenty of wifi hotspots so I don't tend to go through much data, i think this one will suit me best. But I'm free to dump them and go with another provider if there is a more attractive deal. Gotta love not being locked into any contracts
