How do they not have any pencils at launch? SMH

Tbh, this bummed me out. I'm getting quoted two weeks for the pencil shipping! I really hope that's Apple's famous under-promise-over-deliver game at work, because the pencil's basically the only reason I'm buying this thing in the first place

hoping they magically have it in-store tomorrow. probably wont, but whatever. i can survive one week without it
Yeah, whole reason I'm buying it is for the Pencil. None available at any store in Arizona. That sucks.
Guess I'll be cyberstalking Best Buy's stock for a few days to see if I can get one before next week.
I'll have an iPad Pro later today and nothing to draw with. :/

I know. I heard about some apps that were made to work with the pencil on launch day. Very disappointed
I think it's really bad that they don't have the pencils in stock for launch. It's such a major selling point.

They should probably hold off a couple weeks on shipping the iPad pro for orders including a Pencil. That way no one gets upset when they receive their completely useless iPad pro with no Pencil.

Me too now the 14 day will be over before I can see if the pencil is work for me
I am shocked that San Francisco doesn't have them, it's a flag ship store. Well, I am gonna try to go early so maybe they will have some in stock.
I chose in-store pickup. Looks like they only billed me credit card for the iPad for now.
Every time I've ordered multiple items with different availabilities, Apple ships what they have and
Man, I hope so. It has to be either a major shipping gaffe, or a website screw-up to have zero pencils in every store in a region. I know Apple likes to torque with us, but if they really did come up this short, it's just plain silly.
I can invent a reason to do this, but it's purely fiction: If you want people who come in for an iPad to be able to impulse-buy an accessory you can't have them all reserved.
The online orders selling out and the fact that 3rd parties like Best Buy don't even acknowledge the existence of the Pencil is making it look like a supply constraint though.
I bought my iPad pro 8am @ the 5th ave store. None in stock, no keyboard either.
I'm thinking the reason it got delayed like this was they decided to add that extra adapter for charging with a lightning cable after-the-fact.
