I'm angered beyond means. I've waited long enough for this watch and even stayed late at night to order it at crack of 3am. Got my email confirmation at 3:04am and I thought I was part of the first batch. Now I get that ******** email we're working on your order. It better not be a ******** move not getting me my watch on Friday because I'll be pissed. Why would the people who ordered it late get "bumped" earlier than expected while people like us who stayed late get delayed? What a slap in the face. I'm contemplating returning this thing for pure anger at this point.

I'm disappointed that it doesn't look I'll be getting my :04 order either but am pretty confident your delivery date was quoted 4/28 - 5/8 like everyone else in the first wave.

Just calm down, you knew when you ordered it that there was a chance it might not be delivered on the 24th. I honestly feel for you, but trying to hurt Apple by selling the watch just to make a point seems irrational. Why would they notice or care? (Not trying to be insensitive) If I were you, I would just wait for it to get here, leave negative feedback with Apple about the experience, and move on with my new watch. The only person who will be impacted negatively by selling the watch is you. Hope it gets to you soon. (Could still be Friday ;) )

Well thanks for that response bruh... Calm n chill.

Heck no, there's no repercussion for apple.

they don't get your money.

You're complaining about them, but are still willing to hand them your money.

Makes you look a little like you're not sure of your own convictions lol.

I can understand the frustration, but we don't know for sure you won't be getting it on launch day yet. If it really bothers you, write a (calm) letter to Tim Cook telling him how you feel.

So are you going to return it or sell it?

Which one?

Mad right now... Selling it for profit.

Ok, so you've stated you're going to sell it for profit (which doesn't hurt Apple one little bit, but you know, whatever)..

Do you feel better or worse for having confirmed that you're going to sell it (even though we all know you won't)?

I'm willing to give them my money and I have years of Apple launches to prove that... But I'm not gonna sit here watch being treated like **** for my loyalty.

*YAWN* They have not lied to you or misled you. They promised a delivery with in a RANGE of dates, NOT launch day. Seriously, there are other things in life. Guarantee that if you were to get one on launch day, then by the time the weekend (or next week at most) is over the novilty will have worn off and it will just be like your phone. Something that is useful, but nothing to get so wound up over.

A lot of people on these forums need to have a chill pill and go get laid or something.

You arent being treated poorly. You are overly excited and not thinking rationally. Just calm down and enjoy your new watch when it comes.

Have you been living under a rock this whole time? The Apple Watch got NOTHING but bad press. Everyone said it was too expensive, useless, no one would buy it, no one would need it. The reviews were lukewarm... and BAM massive hit.

A few people complaining about not getting their orders on launch day will do absolutely nothing to stop that.

Small drops will make a bucket of water. I don't even know a single person close to me who ordered the watch. Now they're treating me like shi? Sucker punch move.

Where are you going to sell it-eBay?

Or-you could do the decent thing and offer it here to someone at MacRumors at cost price?

I'm sure you'd have no issue selling it and helping out a fellow Mr-er at the same time.

Win win.

"But I'm not gonna sit here watch being treated like **** for my loyalty"

... But you're still paying for the exact thing that they are apparently treating you like **** for...

You do know they won't treat you like **** anymore if you make the decision to not pay them for this watch...

What exactly is it you think that they've done? All we've seen so far is a slightly unclear system for how they mark orders, and a fairly innocuous email that didn't really say anything at all. No deliveries have been missed yet. There is no real evidence that the "lines" of been cut. You seem very hyped up for no real reason at all… Give it a couple more days and then see if you actually have a real reason to be angry, or if you are jumping the gun.

What burns me to no end is knowing others who didn't put as much effort in order date is getting their watches earlier. I mean I don't mind, if you take care of the ones who ordered first.

Not really... I'm in this with a plan.

This is what happens when people have convinced themselves they were going to get the watch on launch day despite being quoted a 2 week window. I'm been getting in debates with people for awhile now thought it was guaranteed even before when hadn't gone into preparing for shipping. Having said that Friday is still a possibility for some and I hope everyone get's their watch ASAP!

I am understanding that not paying for this watch concept now.

It's not as simple as ordering first. A lot of factors take in consideration because of numerous Watch configs...availability of bands associated with your order, your geographical location, etc. Relax, you'll get it eventually, maybe much sooner than what you expect

How do you know what effort those people put in? I followed Apple's emails about favoriting my favorite devices so I would have full access to purchase and recieve them at launch... And my order was confirmed at 3:03am. People who are getting theirs before you ordered something you didnt want anyway.

No problem, I honestly think that when you get it in your hands, and you see the amazing craftsmanship and design, you will forget all about the fact it showed up a few days latter than originally expected.

Quick (sort of) Story!

For the iPhone 6 Plus launch, I decided to pre order one through Target as they guaranteed me a launch day delivery. I drove to the store, and made a purchase of a $50 gift card. I thought "I'm all good yay!". Nope. I got a call the next day saying that their store would not be getting any iPhones on launch day, but the bigger store in our area would. (I wanted to use the smaller one in hopes of getting a first placed spot in line). So I went down to the other store, and had to purchase another $50 gift card (you can't use a gift card to purchase a gift card, who knew!). I finally thought, "OK, NOW I'm good". Wrong again. I got no sleep the night before, I was way to excited. I got out of bed at 5 am and started to wait for the phone call from target letting me know it was ready. I waited, waited.......waited. Nothing. So at about noon I finally called them, "it will be just another hour" I was told. I figured I could wait on hour. One, two, three hours passed. Nothing, called back, no answer. I finally decided I had waited long enough, I went to the store at about 4 pm, waked to the electronics section and saw the person I ordered it with the week prior. I walked up to the counter, told him who I was and then I saw it, the drop of his face. He fumbled with his words for a minute and then finally said it, "We accidentally sold your pre-order to someone that walked in, sorry". ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! He gave me a $10 gift card for compensation, and sent me on my way with $110 in Target gift cards, and a crappy Galaxy S5 still in my pocket. I was outraged. That night, I decided to check on the order status of the Apple Store online, and just order one and wait. Well the Apple Gods decided to bless me that day, as my local store all of a sudden showed stock of the model I wanted for the very next day for local pickup. I got it the next day, September 20th, I had totally forgotten about the target incident in that second. I feel you will do the exact same thing when it comes in the mail for you in a few days. I hope this story helps take the sting off of it a little bit, but if not, I understand. Ether way, enjoy your watch when it gets there. :D

You wouldnt have tried to purchase it if it was worthless. I made the same mistake you are making now with the first iPad. I ended up traveling to another state to get my hands on one as a result.

This too I guess I'm just like Conrad Hilton....
