You've already stated publicly that you'll be selling it on eBay or Craigslist for a profit.

As we all predicted, you never had any intention of selling it, nor was there any kind of "masterplan" to punish Apple.

Getting your watch in the 4/24-5/8 time frame is something you have NO control over and can do NOTHING to change.

While I understand the frustration of not having an item that first day it is available, we all ordered with the understanding that it could arrive any time between 4/24 and 5/08. Yeah, some people ordered a different model couple of minutes or a few hours after you and you think it's not fair. Well, life's not fair.
Sure, I'd like the watch tomorrow. I'm probably not getting it until next week some time. And I'm OK with this. Because I knew it was possible when I ordered it.
For those calling for heads to roll:
1.) The call for massive layoffs at Apple happens after every product launch when their delivery is a minute late, and
2.) I want to see people threatening to cancel or return their order to actually do it. Otherwise, I'll chalk it up to frustration (which is fine, but at least admit that's all it is).

The op has admitted his frustration. I was annoyed when I wasnt the first person to get my hands on a MacBook last week. I got over it once I got my macbook and he will too when he gets his watch.

see, that's the beauty of it. we don't have to buy from Apple. we have choices to buy garbage from other companies if we choose. Apple knows that which is why they are as huge as they are.
You havent been slighted. Apple hasnt violated their obligation to you. They said you will have it by 5/8. That means you will have it by 5/8 or you can extract a reasonable ransome like an additional band or store credit from them or cancel your order altogether.

Edit: Apple Watch hasn't even been announced in my country. Feel lucky that you have an order AND a good timeframe. That's way more than most people.
I'm not directing this at the OP. It's directed at a lot of the sentiment expressed in this thread.
