Seriously, get over it.

You've already stated that you're going to sell it for a profit:

I'll list it on eBay and Craigslist. If you're really interested I'm warning you it's not gonna be at retail price.

What else is there left to say?

He's obviously an attention seeker with issues. Think it's best if people leave him to it.
Yes.. I suppose you're right. It's not just this thread, but many people on this forum are taking things far too seriously and have lost perspective. It seems senseless, but there's nothing to do I suppose but let it go. At least on a forum, no one should get hurt.

OP,

You have no grounds to stand upon and your anger is misdirected. Apple has told you the delivery window from the moment you placed your order and they have not broken that promise to you in any way. You should be angry at yourself for setting unrealistic expectations and letting yourself feel the way you do. I hope you snap out of this and start to feel better.

Cheers,
Bryan

I agree with this. I just got notice that mine SHIPPED but I will not get it here in Hawaii until Monday. I am just relieved to know when it is coming. To SOME this would be the end of the world but for all I know that could possibly be the first day ANYONE here gets it.

It's the price we pay to live in paradise I guess. I'm over on the Big Island so its refreshing to see someone else in Hawaii getting shipping updates. I've tracked mine on UPS but there is no shipping date yet. I'm just fortunate to be one of the lucky few who was able to get on the first wave of shipments. People need to relax and take a step back and realize in the grand scheme of things a slight delay on your watch is nothing to cry about.

This is so stupid. I stayed up all day, was on at the stroke of midnight, refreshing and finally able to place an order 5 mins in and was originally quoted at April 24th delivery then after order placed, it said 4-6 weeks.

Now I see others getting preparing for shipment and shipment emails who placed their orders way later than me or who ordered less expensive watch.

Celebrities flaunting it on instagram? Steve Jobs wouldn't have wanted all this, theres a sense of disorder right now and i don't like this new apple at all

I can understand the frustration, but we don't know for sure you won't be getting it on launch day yet. If it really bothers you, write a (calm) letter to Tim Cook telling him how you feel.

That's what I did...zero regrets

It makes me mad that people who ordered the same exact setup after me are going to get theirs before me.
That's not a good way of doing business!

Lol what a thread. I thought people stopped acting this way when they left preschool. Everyone's excited for apple watch and if you got that email, bad luck. Sure it's disappointing but threatening to bring apple down with your master plans, is pretty much toddler level behaviour.

Keep going, it's hilarious and you're only embarrassing yourselves by being man-children.

What they really need to do is send apple a harshly worded emails with lots 1's and !'s in it and all in caps.

Meanwhile, on planet Earth, nobody thinks anything of "bendgate" anymore...

My 6 plus is slightly bent. I mean VERY slightly. Like, you can NOT see it, but on a granite countertop (without the case) lying on its face, it has a VERY slight wobble. ;)

I care not. I have AppleCare+ and if it gets worse? I'll swap it out. Phone works. Took it months to finally bend. Ah well. No big.

Friend of mine returned hers about a month ago for the same reason. I can't be bothered to back up and restore a new iPhone now.

Same here, me and a friend held our phones up face to face And mine has a slight bend outward at the top.
Still works fine so I see no reason to replace it.

The only person being hurt here is OllyW, the moderator, reading through this thread he has had to moderate so many comments lol

I hear apple is gutted when someone rage quits and deletes thier MR profile ;)

But simple customer service is first in first out... Not first in last out.

You know it's only because of the type you ordered, right?

This isn't as simple as an iPhone launch where they already know they have your phone for sure to send on launch day that Friday when you preorder.

Had you chosen another type of watch, you'd be getting yours Friday and someone else wouldn't.

What did you order, anyway?

I urge you to reconsider. You very well may get this watch Saturday or Monday and that's not a long wait. Know what I mean?

I had already resigned myself to the possibility of having to wait until after launch day when I saw that window of time instead of a promise to deliver on the day of launch.

Sure, we all hoped for launch day, but that shipping window existed for a reason.

Try not to be discouraged. :(

You know what? I might start carrying mine w/o a case. Might as well. LOL.

I kinda like the grippy feeling of this Speck Candyshell Grip case, though. Hmmmm.

I'm angered beyond means. I've waited long enough for this watch and even stayed late at night to order it at crack of 3am. Got my email confirmation at 3:04am and I thought I was part of the first batch. Now I get that ******** email we're working on your order. It better not be a ******** move not getting me my watch on Friday because I'll be pissed. Why would the people who ordered it late get "bumped" earlier than expected while people like us who stayed late get delayed? What a slap in the face. I'm contemplating returning this thing for pure anger at this point.

Why not wait to be angry after the date range you were quoted when you ordered it? It makes me sad how pathetic people are. Return the watch, that'll show them.

I figured since it got a slight bend, what's the point of babying it, took it out of the case and feels great in hand, though it is slippery, but hey if I drop it, damage will add to the wobble and down the track can use AppleCare +

You did NOT just go for the "Jobs wouldn't have" line. Man, do you think Cook WANTS people not to get their watches right away? Nope. It's a whole, new product line. Jobs presided over one where they had to drop prices, piss off early adopters, and give people huge store credits. :D

It's a new product line. There were bound to be a few glitches.

Yours has the same bend as mine. It's a design flaw. Eh. Phone works.

How do you know you are last out ?? .... its Thursday !

That's a good point. I love the phone without case. It's really pretty.

OP seems to have gone to bed which is a shame because I had a good time trying to figure out if he was serious or a parody. Just when I thought maybe someone really could be that delusional he'd throw something in there that made me think he was in on the joke. Oh well.

My favorite part was the repeated references to a massive plan to really stick it to Apple and punish them somehow. I just kept picturing GOB at the beach trying to throw the envelope into the ocean in a grand gesture from Arrested Development. Personally, I love the idea of some frustrated person just showing up in Cupertino a month from now with their watch and throwing it at one of the buildings on Apple's campus and screaming profanities and then going home thinking "I really showed them."
