A little slow today, usually over 100Mb/s down and 40Mb/s up :)

Can't complain too much....

And yes its my Uni, but i don't have internet at home atm so i think it counts!
and they don't mind us downloading (legally) either!

It's slow but I can't complain about something free. It's the Wifi signal from the bar below my apartment.

I'm on the Premier plan, which is advertised as 30mbit/sec down and 5 mbit/sec up. As you can see, they are over-delivering, which they have for as long as I can remember, at least here in San Diego.

Cox finally throttled it back for us peons on the Premier Plan. I think. Or maybe it's just a busy part of the day. You can see this is still more than the advertised 30mbit/sec. Possibly just due to Power Boost. But I have noticed the tests run consistently slower than they were during the "unannounced" rollout of the new Ultimate plan.

Actually, you can see the PowerBoost in the little chart under the dial. You can clearly see the declining transfer rate.

Actually, it seems perhaps they just throttled the Premier speed down to the promised Ultimate speed! They are only promising 50mbps with 55mbps PowerBoost. Premier is 25/30 and I'm WAY over that. But I was getting into the 70's prior to the official launch of Ultimate. And my upload speed of 5mbit/sec matches the Ultimate spec, premier is only 2mbit/sec.

Think I'll save the money and stick with my Premier service for now. ;)

Haha, F... uh, I don't think so. (Although the disconnection rate does lead me to agree... the speed itself is fine.

If they think this is awful then they should try being stuck on AOL for six years. Heads would explode.

I get 40 mbps down (37 last time I did a speed test) and 5 up (4.5 last time I did a speed test).

I pay $20 a month.

Fiber is a beautiful thing.

It gets the job done. Considering the signal is stretched from my office, 150 feet away. And to think that 30 minutes from my house, people are enjoying EPB's speeds...

For the first time I can't complete a speedtest.net test on my MacBook Pro. It never stops the upload test, which is weird. Oh well.

i get about 7mbps down to 1.5MBps. it varies but i have this turbo boost thing that boosts the speed of downloads for like 10 seconds and it ratchets up to like 2-3MBps. but then it drops back down to like 8-10 mbps. not bad. upload is really suckish though. .43mbps...
