I love it, use it all the time, and to me the iPhone's homescreen is finally pulling its own weight.

Like a lot of iOS features, many don't know about it, and even more don't understand its utility. Invest some time in learning and trying it out.

The list of "Did you know you can... ?" is growing in each release, it's quite interesting to watch.

More third party developers are starting to add this support to app icons so I'm using it even more outside of my love for app switcher.

Some of my favorites:

Email: I can quickly filter flights or packages, or frankly up to four things that I can edit within the app. Note that in not talking of Apple's mail app, but what I consider a vastly supperior app called "email" by Easilydo inc.

My weather: I can easily check weather in up to four saved locations, one of which is s Ross the world in Hungary so I can either laugh at my relatives or cry at my misfortune lol. Tons of other options here too.

Cartwheel: we shop at target at least twice a week and being able to immediate access the scanner to see if I can save more money on items in already buying is rather convenient. I can also bring up the barcode quickly, however I have that saved as a widget too, slightly faster depending what screen I'm in (generally lock screen at checkout).

Chrome/Safari: incognito/private tab viewing. Some things I just don't want to be in my history or be viewable as open tabs on other devices. This makes loading a private tab super convenient.

Fitbit: recently I've been logging my food intake as I wanted to get back to eating healthy as I let that and working out go a bit on the wayside this last winter. The app was given a facelift (beta) so this useless convenient than it once was (i.e. The app interface isnreallyngood now), but it's still quick access for manually recording. Can also log weight, water, and track an exercise.

Google maps: directions home. Unsure if you can see other saved addresses. Home is all I save because it's the only preset I'll really ever need. Don't use it all that often, but it's a nice and easy way to navigate home without fiddling with a whole lot for when I just can't/won't use Siri to direct over Apple maps.

Damn. That's a much larger list than I expected. I guess that's a good thing. :)

I have a home and work address saved and it shows me both when i access the shortcut.

Not a lot, mainly for moving the cursor around on the keyboard. Also with the Google Drive app to quickly open a recent file.

Is email by easilydo iPhone only one does it have iPad support too?

I personally love 3DTouch and hope to see more of it in iOS 10. It's one of my favorite 6s features.
My wife on the other hand couldn't care less about it tho. She's more of the regular user who doesn't care as much about the technology.

I don't use 3D Touch. I find the concept and implementation interesting, but it doesn't fit my needs.

For the longest time I couldn’t find a practical use for it until Fitbit added it as a feature to their app. Now that's the only app I use it with.

the concept is just not really efficient, you cant tell when it does or doesnt work. Same on the Apple Watch, took me like a year to notice that you can force touch on certain points

Everyday. To move the cursor, Taking selfie, seeing messages in messengers But mostly while typing i use it to move the cursor

It will be up to Apple and developers to make the case for 3dtouch.

I would like to see how they can further this w/iOS 10.

As it stands with ios9...beyond keyboard navigation and saving a key touch here and there, I see very little benefit for many.

I use it for a short cut to battery life.

I use it for a short cut to wifi when I goto the gym so I can hop on xfinity wifi. I don't stay connected to that because it becomes a nuisance due to all the xfinity wifi hotspots around.

Also while I'm at the gym I use it for Netflix to quickly "continue watching" if I'm using a bike or elliptical.

I use it to move around the cursor on the keyboard. Love that feature btw.

I'll occasionally use it for the stopwatch feature in clock.

That's about it. I wouldn't be lost without it but overall I like it.

Turned it off. I found zero benefit to it for me personally. However, what I did find was it making the processes of activating apps for movement or deleting, copying or opening links, etc more of a hit-or-miss result. No need to keep it around if all it did was cause a regression in my experience.
