*Disclaimer This poll is only for people who has own and wore their Watches for 10 days or more. If you have not worn your watch for 10 days or more please hold off your vote till then! Of course you are welcome to post replies on this thread. This poll is to get a rough generalized view on how the Watch holds up on daily wear and tear.

So for those of you lucky enough to have that 10 day anniversary date with your Watch let me ask you a question?

How is your Watch holding up?

(Please format your answers, If answered "Yes" please note the severity.
Scratches on the screen?
Scratches on the case?
What model do you have?
Damages to the band?
What band do you have?
What is you typical day like?
Was any of your damaged caused by something not typical of your day?
and finally,
Approximately how many days have has your Watch been following you around on your wrist?

Lets see where this poll goes and hopefully we can have a proper view on how our Watch holds up in the real world and see what team is better :p

Too many questions.

I just returned mine. I can't justify a $400 watch with a screen that will scratch. 13 days in, already a scratch. Body is fine. Sport. I just can't imagine how many scratches 6 months from now. Maybe I am wrong and this is just rare. But I don't think apple should ever have used Ion-X glass. Maybe it's because the sapphire maker couldn't deliver their promise.

Scratches on the screen? No
Scratches on the case? No
What model do you have? 42 SS BCB
Damages to the band? No
What band do you have? Classic Buckle
What is you typical day like? Work
Was any of your damaged caused by something not typical of your day? No Damage
and finally,
Approximately how many days have has your Watch been following you around on your wrist? 13 days

Had mine since 10am PST 4/24

Glass: perfect, not a scratch
Casing: slight scuff marks caused by Milanese loop rubbing against the casing because according to Apple I'm tightening the band "wrong". Milanese loop is going back and Sport band is coming soon.

Will buff out scratches from the SS once sport band arrives.

Have the SG Sport.
Holding up perfectly on every way. Have ordered white sport band and also blue leather loop for it.

42mm SS sport band.

Had since launch. Wear all day/everyday and put on charger about 10pm.

No damage to screen. I have even rubbed my screen HARD on block and stucco walls at work to show android co-workers at just how strong screen is. Not a single mark.

No damage to band. LOVE the sport band. Will be purchasing link bracelet down the road (hopefully a nice, cheaper 3rd party option).

A few very minor scuff marks in stainless from normal wear and tear. But not really noticeable at all. I assume somewhere down the road I will get a scuff that triggers my OCD at which point I will have the whole case polished.

Overall very happy.

Only issue I've had was the black sport band peeled... But Apple already sent out a new one! Hope this one doesn't do it though...

Outside of that, not one blemish and I love my watch!

Popular threads will survive. There are too many stickies. Maybe the forums needs an option to sticky threads on a per user basis. Let us decide how many threads need to fill the top over every page of a subforum.

This is getting a little ridiculous.

Happy to report not a single scratch on the (sport) casing, screen, and no issues at all with my sport band.

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on 42 SS. This was a great idea for a thread, especially going forward for future buyers.

Scratches on the screen? No, I put a film on it
Scratches on the case? No
What model do you have? 42mm space gray sport
Damages to the band? No, light wear from band on band rubbing
What band do you have? black sport band
What is you typical day like? Work/outdoor cycling/gym
Approximately how many days have has your Watch been following you around on your wrist? 9 days

Loving the space gray coating. Mine has zero scratches that I think is mainly because of the hard anodize coating. I feel for the polished stainless steel folks who are already getting hairline scratches. I guess the sport watch might look cheap but has better aesthetics in the long term.

cratches on the screen? No
Scratches on the case? No
What model do you have? 38 SS
Damages to the band? No
What band do you have? Classic buckle (waiting for the sport band to come in)
What is you typical day like? I ride horses and at a barn setting 3-5 hours a day so the watch has seen lots of dirt and dust goodness knows what else. I have scraped it against horse shoes (oops) and no damage yet!
Was any of your damaged caused by something not typical of your day? None
and finally,
Approximately how many days have has your Watch been following you around on your wrist? 4/24

Scratches on the screen? No
Scratches on the case? Yes, from where it inevitably knocks into something.
What model do you have? 42mm SS
Damages to the band? No, but there is a permanent crease where it presses into the buckle.
What band do you have? Classic Buckle
What is you typical day like? At the moment: morning run then sit at desk all day (watch off unless I'm away from my desk).
Was any of your damaged caused by something not typical of your day? No.
and finally,
Approximately how many days have has your Watch been following you around on your wrist? It arrived last Thursday, and I've worn it every time I left the house. At home, it is only on if I'm away from my desk.

No damage/scratches to the screen, case or band.

 Watch (38mm ss) white sport band.

Desk job, light housework, playing with 2 rowdy dogs. I'm the type who walks into walls and cuts or burns myself regularly in the kitchen. In other words, not at all the careful sort.

Worn for a minimum of 16 hours a day for the last 13 days.

Picked up my 38mm SS WSB. Opened it up and there is a small mark on the side of the watch. Contacted Apple and will be returned tomorrow for a full refund. Poor standards.

My 38SS which was returned did not come mint. There were scratches on it out of the box.

38mm SG sport, black sport band. Worn constantly for 10 days, not a mark on it except for 2 rub lines on the inside of the strap where the free end tucks back in. These are not visible when in use, not unexpected or unreasonable wear, and not an issue for me at all.

I have an office job (mostly; occasional field work) but after work I'm very active, running/biking/hiking/training dogs/yard work/etc. Have knocked the watch into things, had dog claws all over it, reached into lawn mower engines and generally not made any special effort to protect it. I looked carefully for scratches before replying to this poll and didn't find any. Even if I had, I would not be upset. It's an everyday watch, and I expect there will eventually be some scratches. But none yet so I think it's pretty tough.

Sport with white band. Still in perfect shape, even after a few obvious run ins with car doors and walls.

I've had the 42mm SS with BSB for ten days now.

Only catastrophe was dropping it. It's still kinda hard to put the Sports Band on with one hand

Luckily it was a wood floor and there is no damage. I was worried about the digital crown being affected but so far so good.
