How Many Mac's Have You Owned??

Four.

An original iMac, two iBooks and my latest and loveliest...a 15" MBP 2ghz model.

Lovely.
 
I currently have a ton of classic Macintosh equipment instorage but I'm just going to list machines that were purchased new(or newish/refurb) for main machine in order of purchase and use.

First Mac - Performa 575(fantastic machine, I still love Apple's all in one designs)
Power Mac 6100 (eventually upgraded with a 233 mhz G3)
Power mac 5500 225mhz
Powerbook G3 Pismo 500 mhz
Power Mac G4 533mhz (DA)
Imac 800 mhz
iBook G3 800 mhz
eMac 1 Ghz
Dual 1 Ghz Tower
Blue and White G3 upgraded to 350mhz G4 (This ones an oddity, I had some bills that needed paid so the Dual tower had to be sold but I picked this up for 50 buxx, I had and have a decent PC but it was faster to use a 350 mhz G4 than try to get a Windows box to do actual work).
iBook G4 1.33 Ghz
Mac Mini 1.42 Ghz


I've owned a second gen 10 GB iPod, currently have in the home a pink ipod mini and a 512 MB iPod Shuffle.

iMac G5 17 inch 1.6 Ghz

The only one I don't have anymore is the Quadra. I donated it to my sons school.

Wicked. Always wanted a neXT to play with back in the day.

So:

Now: Powerbook 15" in sig
Dads: iBook G3/600 dual USB
Sis: Powerbook 12" 1.33 G4

Then:
Mac SE - knew it up down and sideways.
Quadra 610 - metal edge gave me a scar, ouch.
Quadra 900 - best $40 purchase ever w/ dual page B&W monitor!
Performa 6250 - or somesuch. Complete pile 603e tower.
Pismo G3/500 (upgraded to G4/500 - a mistake, should have kept it)
iBook Clamshell Blue G3/300 - sitting at my desk waiting for a new HD and a task. Not sure what to do with it. IRC / server / thingee maybe?

Soon:
Mac Book Pro the day before I graduate college. Discounts baby, discounts.

Yeah I had a Quadra too back in the day, been quite a few years now I got my MBP. :0 Couldnt be happier.

I just have a 1.33 Ghz 12 inch powerbook and a 5G ipod. Had them for a year and they're perfect.

Started out with a PowerBook 145 years ago, then there was an SE, a Classic, an LC, a Quadra 950, an SE/30, and a PowerMac 6500. There were some PC's here and there until I bought a Mini (1.42) the day they came out.

I had absolutely no interest in Macs until the release of OS X which is the reason for reasonably new(ish) machines. I've sold both notebooks so it is only the Power Mac and iMac making any noise in my house now.

Ever since I bought my first iPod, I've fallen in love with Apples. :)
 
I started to swtich from windows on iMac G5 with iSight :cool:
Then complete the transition with MacBook 1.83g in last week. :p

Oh before I come to Mac, I bought iPod nano first.

Impressive to see everyone's collections.

I think I started with a Classic 2.
Followed by a Quadra.
Than a Performa 6116.
Than a Biege G3 233 mhz.
Than a G4 533 DP.
Than a MacBook!

Had each one for over 4 years and loved each one.
 
Wow, there's more than I thought. If I'd had to pay for any of these, it would've been fewer. Bold I still have, although only the last 3 are actually used, and the only 3 I've paid for personally:

Mac 512 (or maybe 128)
Mac Plus
Mac SE (may have missed an original-shaped Mac in here)
another Mac 512 or Plus
Pbook 165c
Mac IIsi
I think we briefly had an LC II/III that was DOA or something, traded for the IIsi
PM 6100 w/486 installed
I think a PM 7500/7600 replaced my 6100

Are we including iPods? Got my wife a 20GB click wheel.

Haven't had one that truly fit my needs since the combination of PB 1400 and PM 6100. Waiting on a "good" MBP. The MB is sssooooo close, if the keyboard was backlit my search would probably be over. None of the iPods really turn my crank either. I want a larger capacity flash model, once prices come down.
