Oh ok, they are not sold in mine either. Back then they sold it over amazon.com through amazon which included everything in their delivery fee, including customs. So I had it around a week later but of course it was much more expensive than buying it in their shop as an american.

Thanks for the heads up! I will check now what is the situation with the delivery fees.

Good news regarding text size in apps on 12 Mini, specifically in standard mode.

I think something big for many Mini users coming to iOS15 later this year is, that you can now choose text size and display setting for each app individual. Here is the but, for all apps that are SUPPORTED. So if developers support it we can set different text size for each app. To me that is massive as I find many app's text size way to tiny in standard mode on the 12 Mini. Hopefully developers will support that sooner than later. So maybe no more zoomed display mode.

For example Messages, Safari or Telegram are fine for me but Microsoft Teams use very different text size. 🙈

Yeah, some are fine, esp Apple ones, because of the system wide text size settings, and those where you can adjust text size, like Telegram. But those where you can't adjust it, it is so hard to read because it is so tiny, sometimes even not really black text but it feels more like grayish . That is why I sometimes go back to zoomed mode, also that is quite a big display resolution.

So to me this is big, if integrated, because I don't need display zoom mode setting anymore.

Oh. I never used zoomed mode on any iPhone I have ever owned. 😀

Hopefully you will never lost you iPhone or wishfully you will never have something personal in your phone which you would miss. Fingers crossed.
Full backups, but anything personal is already on my laptop (which is also backed up). No need to twist my fingers.

no more hoping when it comes to developers, we must make our voices heard. Tell developers what you want. Share their contact I fo (of the app/company not their personal private info) on social media gash that tag for 12/13 mini owners stating you’ll keep your device for long periods of time until a worthy successor is released. Developers then seethevslurfor continued development

F.e. with zoom display mode and black bars because of missing adaptation to 12 Mini I posted 1 star reviews and explained it. And believe it or not, a few weeks later some were adapted, all are big apps like news, banking, shopping. But others have done nothing for a few months now. So here you see when developers read reviews and listen and when not. Some of those major apps, who have tiny text size, do also read reviews. There is hope. But you can see that some apps, esp those where you don't pay anything for before in some kind like devices or subscriptions, like shopping apps, don't care at all. So if it is important I will write something. But I don't have any social media accounts. Only some forums.

Finally pulled the trigger and upgraded to iPhone 12 Mini. I agree with other posters that we need to have the text size/zoom feature available on as many apps as possible. However, I expected this and was willing to accept that trade off when moving off my iPhone 7 Plus. It has been a joy moving off that behemoth and back to a "small" phone. I'm good for at least another 4 more years and hopefully Apple will have a successor to the Mini when the time comes to upgrade again :)

If the current rumor from Kuo Ming Cho is accurate, iPhone 13 will be the last year for the mini, unfortunately.

Only 3 months away from the 13 Mini! Looking forward to downsizing from my XS Max. Used my friend’s iPhone 6/S/7/8-sized iPhone the other day and totally forgot how good it felt to be using an ergonomic phone.

Brand new mini owner here! I love this phone after upgrading from an SE. It only seems ‘mini’ if for some reason it’s next to my partner’s 11. Beautiful screen, amazing performance and it even fits in my pocket! Wow!

I've had the Mini for about a week. I came from an iPhone 8, which was a solid performer all the time I owned it. I then jumped to a 12 Pro and hated it! The weight, much larger screen, overall phone size and the stainless band that showed every fingerprint and reflected every point of light were all killers for me. I returned the Pro and got the 12 Mini. The Mini is an outstanding phone -- smooth, fast, beautiful display, perfect size and weight. It is a bit smaller overall from the 8, but the larger screen makes the transition very easy. I have the black color, which I think is very elegant and stealthy. My wife has the 12 Mini in white, which has its own elegance and class in that color. The cameras on the 12 series are outstanding, too!

You and your wife rocking the 12 mini like Hawk & Dove comic characters. Love the 12 mini as well.

FYI All 12 Mini owners that love your device SHOULD write into anyone at Apple and praise the device. Tell Apple if the 13 Mini is coming that they should Advertise it.!

Write into Apple, Tim and tell them how much you like the device. Tell them they should advertise the 13 mini, considering no advertisement in N.America for the 12 mini which didn’t outsell the iPhone SE 2020 yet in Q1 brought in a LOT more revenue, again without any advertising and during so many lockdowns this pandemic.

now imagine what sales would be like considering the 13 mini will launch when most lockdowns are being cancelled or ended, travelling is soon to really open up late summer 2021, and with smaller notch, better battery life, more efficient A15 cpu (a top end cpu btw), and Telephoto lens + Wide/UltraWide rear camera, it should be a great winner.

Yeah, marketing for the Mini war very poor. Don't know what Apple though of it. They just, if at all, marketed it as a smaller 12, a 12 light instead of putting out the benefits of size. Same content on smaller device, same chips, modems etc. A powerful 12 in a smaller body. They did the opposite, and mostly nothing at all.

But where are the rumors of a telephoto and wide lens coming from? I don't think they will change lens constellation in a "S" product line/year.

Now that I’m back out and about and commuting for work I am on a Mini again. I was using a Pro Max for a bit while still at home. Love the Mini. I’ll probably snag a 13 mini on sale around the iPhone 14 announcement next year, and just ride it out for as long as it lasts.

Yeah, seeing that prices on prime Day started around 600€ here I would love to wait several months to upgrade too. But depending on the features, I will do sooner or later. TouchID would be massive in these weird times. Battery, better 5G and smaller not not that important to upgrade early. Love my 12 Mini and from what it seems at the moment it won't be a big upgrade. Still I hope for TouchID in Power Button.
