partner is using 13 mini. she loves it. battery life is great, 30 min more than the 12 pro. better camera (larger sensor), better speakers, brighter display, and magsafe mechanism works better (stronger than before).

Hope you liked the blue.
I have 256 13 Mini Blue. It is more like last years 12 pro pacific blue.
I wanted pacific blue last year but wasn’t offered in 12 mini which is the one I got as I like the size of mini.

Now I got a mini in a color I wanted last year. Lol
I walked into the Apple Store yesterday to see the blue in person. I think after seeing it…it’s a really nice shade of blue. To my eye…looks much better than the blue “rendering” Apple used on their site. I‘m within the return window. I might return my starlight mini for the blue.

I’ll be a 13 mini owner on Monday or Tuesday of this coming week…!
Decided to go with Midnight. Was thinking blue or red, but since I’m a caseaholic (buy way too many), I decided to go with basic black and will add color with the cases anyway.

I caved and switched from the 512gb to 256gb due to massive wait times for shipping. No regrats. Fantastic phone.
The midnight is surprising how dark blue it is. It looks black at first glance but it’s a really deep blue. Almost as black as Charleston Green is almost black but blue instead.

I have iPhone 12 mini but I really want the iPhone 12 pro now, I feel like the mini looks cheap with the painted aluminum frame, maybe cause I scrapped it Idk I just want a bigger screen and feel stainless steel at this point

Wow. In this picture it almost looks like the light pink one. How lighting can change the color…

i got to compare my white 12 Mini to a white 13. in the lighting there it seemed almost the same besides the red tint of the white 12. Nothing like above. Crazy.
Please do. 👍🏻🤞🏻

Nah. I upgraded from an 8 to the 12 mini and it was a big upgrade. The 12 does what I need now. Battery is fine. Better than the 8 was. I won’t upgrade for another year or two. Year over year improvements are not enough to justify the cost for me.
I went from the 8 to the 12 mini last year and had the opposite reaction to the battery life - the mini is much, much worse with battery life. But I love the size so much more.

The only thing I can't do easily on the 12 mini is edit video, so this year, I bought the iPad mini for that purpose on my AT thru hike next year. When I return in August [hopefully!], I will opt for the 13 mini if it looks like there won't be a 14 mini.

I have a 12 mini, got it last year at launch.
Previous phone was an 11.

Fantastic phone- love the size. It’s been perfect other than getting unusually warm with even the lightest use over the last couple months.

I am thinking of moving to the 13 mini because people are saying it generally tuns cooler than the 12 mini.

I couldn’t ever go back to a bigger phone again!

I have the same feeling. Only with just a little hunch in my head that going to regular 13 will last me much more longer based on rumors for next year where we won’t see mini again and all new phones onwards will be only bigger.

I realized something really that hasn't gotten into my sight all those months before. I see more and more people with an iPhone Mini, honestly not sure if 12 or 13 Mini.

I work in a place where I meet and see different kind of people everyday, lot's of. And I remember talking to one stranger a few months ago because he had a Mini iPhone, asking him how he likes it etc because I never saw a Mini user besides mine.
Now I see more and more people with a Mini, really. At least 5 in last week, before it was 2-3 in a year. Different people. I don't know if the sales climb higher which would be nice. Or if just more people going out "showing" their iPhone or people wanting smaller phones now because lockdown is way over. No idea but that was something that suprised me after year where I mostly saw iPhone 12 6.1 regarding the 12 line.

Not sure I follow the logic (ie regular 13 will last you much longer…based on rumors no more mini’s after the 13). However, they were wrong about the rumors for a radical redesign of the Apple Watch 7. Perhaps they’ll be wrong also about the rumors for no more Mini’s😊

My idea is that in future they will be making bigger iPhones, not smaller ones. Maybe iOS will be worse with smaller iPhones - as I felt about iOS 10 when I switched from iPhone SE to iPhone 7. Some buttons were bigger and wrongly placed and I felt that on first SE that change in my mind was mainly based on the UI of iOS. Also bigger battery could last longer also. I think that 12 series was very bad in battery - percentage in Battery Health was dropping really fast across the lineup despite that fact that earlier iPhone (XS, 11…) didn’t saw that drop that quickly. Am I wrong about those feelings? I would be happy to.

And about AW7, I think that flat design isn’t something that was supposed to be on S7 and Apple really planned to release this version in this exactly design. They are planning ahead far too long that flat design is maybe a thing but not for a year 2021. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I'm gonna buy the mini 13, my big question is, magsafe or the brick? magsafe drain the battery more? I stick with the normal brick?
In my experience brick is better, but you know that - heat as you charging wirelessly will be always there.
