iPhone 12 mini How many Mini owners here?

What made you return it last year that is different this year?I’m kind of new to the mini. Last year I bought it and returned it but this year I may just keep it
New Mini 13 owner here. Really wanted the green, but got the starlight and put a green case on it. Coming from an SE2 that was plagued with problems. Love the mini so far. Perfect size, fast, screen is so much better than the SE2. I hope to have this one for many years.
12mini and not upgrading - this is a small, light phone but at the same time large enough to use it fine.
I had the iPhone 12 mini but went with the pro , wish they would make a smaller pro phone
I bet they release a new color later, I mean not purple, orange or something like that. But I hope will be the purple.
Same here. If the 13 mini had the 120hz screen, I would have gotten it. That, and camera optical zoom.

Exactly how I feel. The 5.8” was a great size. I wish Apple had gone with 5.8” as the “regular” size.
I would have bought the XS instead of the XR 3 years ago if the XS’ battery wasn’t so horrible compared to the XR. Was hard to justify paying more for the XS. 🤨

I loved the 5.8" size as well. The only reason I went with the 11 Pro over the regular 11 was because the Pro had the smaller size. They really should have kept that the standard size.
You could be right or it might be some shade of green. They do have a green watch, and that's the only piece of tech that doesn't have a phone matching it right now. I was checking the XR, 11, and 12 colors, and they do always have 6 colors and they only showed 5. If they do release purple it most likely would match the iPad Mini's color. I know for most people that the color doesn't matter, but it would be nice to actually own an iPhone in my favorite color for once, especially during the initial fall release. I couldn't get the 11 because it was too big for me and they released the 12 too late in the year. I hope Apple has their Spring event earlier in the year because late April was just too late to update a phone. The trade in value not only decreases once the new year comes, there seems to be no trade in value for the newer phones either.

Resale values of iPhones are high if you want to do yourself a favour with the proper red this year.

Can anyone who went from an SE 2020 to the 13 mini comment on the keyboard size/screen space difference in general? DH has a 2020 SE which he liked at first but now is getting a little crowded and hard to type/read. He likes the smaller form in general and they're best for job sites/in pocket; but he really needs some more screen space.
I ordered him a 13 mini and it's sitting at our BB but now wondering if I should have just gotten him a 13. When I went to get my 13 on Friday I played with the mini and its TEENY...screen looks great, but it was hard to see if there is any real benefit with the keyboard.

I think they’ll keep the base iPhone 13 phones for a while, just like how they kept the iPhone 12’s.
I picked up my mom iPhone 11 Pro that I gave her and it’s so nice and small , I have small hands this phone too big for me
This thread is talking about the 12 mini or 13 mini. As I said, the 13 mini is not larger than the 11 Pro.

Technically the 13 mini is a small pro phone.
It’s got the bigger sensor from last years 12 Pro Max, much better battery (than even the regular 12 from last year) as well as the same software features that the pro models have from this year.
I know it’s not a pro, but this is likely the closest mini lovers will ever get to one.
