The AW4 has been around for a few weeks so a lot of people have probably sold the previous version they were wearing. What did you have and how much did you get? I have a SSSB AW3 with the Milanese band. I've had it listed for $400.00 in the Facebook Marketplace. Have just had one inquiry. They offered $300.00. I searched before I listed it. $400.00 looks like a good number. Some were a little less and some were a little more. Some included Applecare.

Well whenever I post something for sale, I end up getting a flood of annoying low ballers wanting to give me next to nothing for whatever the hell im selling. I just sold an iPhone X and I initially posted it for I think $800 and the first few offers were for $500 and I was like...that’s not even a real offer is it? How can you think I’ll take you seriously when you start negotiating like that?

Anyway, just a mini rant. Selling things is annoying. I sold my aluminum s3 Lte watxh for $250. I think $400 for a stainless black is totally reasonable. How long have you had it up for sale?

Oh and btw: try offer up. It’s the one I’ve had the most luck on. Seems like everyone is on there

Just received payment:

$56 for series 0 42mm aluminum w/ woven nylon
$60 for series 0 42mm stainless steel w/ sport band

I've been trying to sell my SS Series 3 on Facebook and Kijiji in Canada. Started at $700 CDN ($545 US) and only got one offer for $500. Now listed at $500 CDN ($385 US) and haven't had an offer. Seems to be very few buyers out there for Series 3 stainless steel.

I sold my SBSS Series 3 with Sport band and AppleCare+ for $300, which was the best offer I received.

this feels savage!

Apple watches aren't quite the same as the phones... it takes 2 years for the phone to be half it's original value and only 1 year for SS watches!

I'd feel good about getting $400. That's half of what I paid not including tax. I figure someone will offer $375, maybe $350.. Anything less and I'll think about just giving it to a good friend.

I'm trying to get $350 for my S3 SS - so far one offer for $320 and several at $300. Then again, I just posted it about 24 hours ago, so we'll see.

Resale is horrible for these watches. You will get back less than 50% after a year. Then 2 years it’s 50% again.

Series 0 is pretty much worthless. I’m trying to sell my SS 42 with a Milanese knock-off for $80 CAD but anything significantly less I won’t bother. The charger I’m including will be worth more at some point and probably better to keep as spare.

I got $115 for my series 2 aluminum. I got to keep the band and charger, so that’s like an extra $80 right there.

I have a series 2... I'm just giving it to apple for $115 and keeping all my bands/chargers/etc.

Last year I got $100 cash for my gold 42mm aluminum Series 0 watch via OfferUp via an in person purchase - he bought just the core watch, not bands or chargers.

This year I used Apple Buy Back and got $225 for my LTE 42mm aluminum.

I went stainless for Series 4 and knock on wood hope to hang onto this model for a few years.

I'm trying to use the Apple GiveBack program but this company they're partnered with for the trade-ins (Brightstar) is COMPLETELY incompetent.

I sent them my 42mm Series 2, for which they quoted me $115. The jackass that received and inventoried my watch marked my quote down, because he thinks it's a Series 1. I've never owned a Series 1. When you fill out the online form for the trade-in, Apple makes you enter the serial number, which I did -- I read it directly off the device, and the site even confirmed the serial matched a Series 2. I've been going back and forth with Brightstar over the phone for a week. No one can seem to help, no one will call me back despite being told repeatedly that I'll hear back on my case within a couple days each time I call, no one speaks anything but broken English there. Apple won't help either. I tried calling them and they said it's out of their hands. Thoroughly frustrated with this process.

$275 - S3 Nike+ GPS. With Apple Care, 1 cheapo Amazon band, and an unused screen protector w/bumper.
The watch was 2 months old, I paid maybe $340 brand new with AC.

Got my GPS Nike+ sport loop today and couldn't be happier!!

Has anyone that mailed in there watch had their credit card credited for the trade in value?
