I've been trying to sell my SS Series 3 on Facebook and Kijiji in Canada. Started at $700 CDN ($545 US) and only got one offer for $500. Now listed at $500 CDN ($385 US) and haven't had an offer. Seems to be very few buyers out there for Series 3 stainless steel.

Does craigslist cover Canada? best place to sell apple stuff

They only offered me $25 for my 38mm steel Series 0, so I'm just going to keep it as a fun mark of history. Maybe my 6 year old son will wear it ironically in 20 years. :)

I've been defrauded a few times as well. It's a real pain in the butt, especially since we have to pay 10% to eBay already! I quit selling things online with them, it's just not worth it for me.

Last time I sold something, it was really 13%, because PP dings you another 3% and it's not optional.

$200 for my S2 SS 42mm with all of the original packaging. It was mint condition having been replaced for free by AC+ 2 weeks ago after unfortunate incident.

For those of you interested in what needs to be mailed back for the Apple Giveback program for the Apple Watch. As mentioned by numerous members here, just need to send the watch back without bands and chargers.

I can confirm. Mailed 3 watches without bands or chargers and received my full quote (plus tax which was a surprise) as a refund.

I have a 42MM SS Series 0 listed on the marketplace here. Can’t even get a nibble for $79. They have some crap resale value.

25€ I would have gotten for a fully functional Apple Watch 1st Gen. I kept it. Wear it while the other one is charging.

This price hurts me so much to seen. Wow. You really have to get the ss because you like it and not for resale value

I sold my launch day S0 (SS, 42mm) about a year ago for $200, and my S3 (also SS, 42) three weeks ago for $330. Both via Craigslist. Sold both with an OEM white sports band plus two or three aftermarket bands that I never wore.

Anyone sent their watch in with watchOS beta installed, wondering if that would cause any issues with Apple giveback?

No, they will give you a gift card. $225? They can drop dead. I'll keep it before I give it away for nothing!
The problem is that we all thought “when I sell my old Apple Watch for a good price then I can buy the new Series 4 for $250... but as a result of the huge supply prices dropped immediately. I sold my Series 2 for 170 but even that price seems too high nowadays.

I wonder if waiting will help raising the prices a little bit, because the Series 2/3 are still nice watches. But with holiday season ahead, I’m afraid you have to take your loss. Sometimes the market isn’t fair...
