1. Who said the only place people look at photos is on their phone? Of course it's not, what a ridiculous thing to say.

2. If I don't get the photo sent to my phone I don't get it at all, common sense dictates that a phone picture is better than nothing at all.

3. I don't put it on my computer, I keep it on my phone so I can see it wherever I am, is that ok with you? Do you mind if I don't buckle to your demands to transfer it?

4. What does sun-par mean?

They were being sarcastic, okay?

sun-par is sub-par with a spell checker.. ;)

Do you mind if I ask you how old you are (feel free to say Middle School, High School, College, etc). In college, I don't think I have ever seen any of my friends take or send a MMS message before. Maybe its a early teen thing now?
i'm 17. my friends send me pictures of funny things they see all the time. it's a hassle for them to send them to my email, since most of them dont even have phones capable of it.

That's a ridiculous assumption. I'm in my thirties, and my friends and I use MMS fairly regularly.

Like someone else said, when you're in the middle of a text conversation, it's annoying to have to switch to email just to send or receive relevant media. It disrupts the flow of the conversation, and not everyone has immediate access to their email like they do their phone. And even though probably half of my friends have smartphones, even then it's not the same as receiving it via MMS when you're already "talking."

Anyway, my answer to the poll would be probably a couple of times a week.

Its obvious he meant sub-par, now you are just being childish.

Gee sorry, I didn't realise you were his mum. I'll direct all comments towards you now that I've realised you're here to look after him.

I have MMS and use it all the time. But phones here in Japan are given email addresses that tie into the MMS account, so mobile email and MMS are synonymous here.

its handy.

You don't know what you've been missing out on till you have it, and i've had it since 3.0 thanks to O2 in the UK.

I mainly use it to send pics to my mum for example, who doesn't have access to email 24 hours a day.

I'd say i use it every other week.

I use it when it's available. Maybe once or twice a week? But for now I've found ways around it. I usually just send an email to the other persons cell phone. It works the exact same way.

For example. To send a picture to another AT&T phone you just send an email with the picture in it to: 1234567890@mms.att.net. That simple.
Unfortunately I dont ask every in my phonebook what cellphone service they have.

I would use it everyday mainly because my friends dont have smart phones that can recieve email. And they wouldnt go on their computers just to see the picture i sent them.

I currently have my MMS working and I don't really use it much. Partly because some of the people I would MMS have iPhones or don't have MMS. But I think once MMS is out for everyone on the iPhone I will use it more.

I went from a crapy phone with no MMS to an iPhone in December so I have never REALLY had MMS. So it's pretty fun having it on my iPhone.

I personally would use it a LOT. I am a 33-year old lawyer, so I'm not a little kid. Thing is, I have 2 kids (a 10-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl). My wife who has a T-Mobile phone CONSTANTLY sends me pictures of my daughter doing various things or new hairdo, etc. while I'm at work. And I do the same, but it's a pain for me to have to do the whole emailing pictures to her phone thing. Not to mention when I get MMSs from other (grown) folks and have to do the cumbersome cut-and-paste thing using that stupid link that they send. Also, if MMS were available, I would most certainly send short video clips from my 3GS of my daughter singing, dancing, just being her cute little self, etc. My wife already emails me videos (again, because she can't just send the directly to me via MMS). I imagine people with kids would send a lot of MMSs back and forth once it finally became operational.

I'm in the category of it's a nice feature to have but I'm not going to stress on it not being there. After all, I've lived 2+ years without it on the iPhone 2G and 3G, what's a few more months?

my friends and I use it all the time, so its a must have feature for me. all 4 of my previous phones had the feature, so why not the iphone?

I really do miss it from having it on my older phones. I don't use it like every day but there are times I would like to have it.

i just want MMS because i hate having to get a code and password to be able to check the MMS i receive. I prefer to email out the pictures i want to share with people...

I am so damn tired of having to check viewmymessage.com whenever my wife sends me an MMS. I would probably use the features every so often but I have several people who send me MMS texts. I have told them to stop until AT&T offers the service.

FAIL AT&T! You should have been ready when 3.0 was released. I will be the first to leave once the iPhone is offered on another carrier. If that does not happen within a couple of years, I will jump ship altogether. I can only be faithful to Apple if its partners, AT&T, don't retard the user experience. AT&T is still having 3G network problems and I don't see the 7.2 mbps service up and running before 4G, LTE or whatever you call it. Sorry to rant and rave but AT&T has become quite a sore subject for me lately. This company is making me begin to loathe my iPhone.

i figure it might come in handy so i can send pictures to my boss for pricing jobs out if were not in the same area i can just take a picture/video of what needs done and he can reply with a price
