I can't wait to see how insane the 27th will be!![]()
I know it lets you set up the order and save it with your AT&T/Apple/Verizon/etc. installment plan specified, but when you actually go to the saved item, no payment plan is specified, only the chosen carrier-specific model. I've been wondering about this because it'll either save time or create extra steps depending on whether the installment plan preference is stored as part of the favoriting. Does anyone know how it works in that regard? I've favorited items and zoomed through purchasing before, but only for stuff like the Apple Watch that's full-fee up front.
Because you can’t use a payment plan with the Apple store app. Only pay full price or use Apple IUP
Nope. Not true. At least speaking for AT&T, AT&T Next is integrated with the Apple Store app. I know because I used it last year. I'm just wondering if favoriting retains that info.
Assuming most people buy things with their mobile device (I guess almost nobody can be bothered to use their computer, especially after waking up in the middle of the night), are you implying that they visit the Apple Store website with their mobile device instead of using the app? Serious question - I'm a bit puzzled as to why there should be any difference between the website traffic and the app traffic: I assumed that they all depended on the same servers.Because far more people are trying to use it.
Sounds like you owe money on the current device then. Works for me fine on AT&T.Strange. When I tried to do a test run and “upgrade another phone on this line” I tried with the 8 with my wife’s number and was told I’m eligible for ipgrade but can can only pay full price through app. I have Verizon
