Will concern me when I start seeing thousands upon thousands of people complaint about this and Apple coming out saying there's a design flaw and they forgot to do stress tests in these phones.

Until then no concern at all....

So if you don't have an iPhone 6 or 6+ or/and have actually not bent any of them.

What exactly are you doing here?

Deciding if I want one and responding to your idiotic notion that people shouldn't be able to sit and keep a phone in their pockets.

Where's the proof that the iPhone bends while sitting with it in your pocket??

For all we know these people could have sat on their phones while having them in their back pockets.

The only way these youtubers have bent their phones was with their hands and applying enormous pressure.

Dont wear tight clothes.

Apple starts new style trend.

How to stop 6 Plus bending?

I have carried every iPhone I have had from the first model in my front and back pants pockets and in have never bent one and/or broken a screen because I keep it in a nice case and I take care of my stuff, problem solved.

I think unbox therapies video is at the very least proof that this phone is very weak, but you are saying that I've said things I haven't said. I merely replied to you addressing your statement that people shouldn't sit down with their phones in their pockets, that's all. I didn't say anything about the severity of this bend issue, nothing, just addressed your apologetics.

IS IT A UNIQUE FLAW WITH APPLE DEVICE?
These reports are not the first time iPhone frames have warped, and the issue isn't unique to Apple.
Reports in 2012 claimed that the iPhone 5 had similar frame weaknesses.
The iPhone 5S release was met with similar complaints.
Samsung devices are also vulnerable, and the Galaxy S4 in particular was found to bend under pressure. As did Sony's Xperia Z1.
Other devices have been released recently that were specifically designed to have a curved frame, including the LG G Flex and the Samsung Round.
Both devices were said to be more comfortable to hold, and easier to place in a back pocket.

You have a 5 or 5s right?

Panic then it's not as strong as you thought it was: http://youtu.be/-ZiT8AlhUMQ

how many cases of bending have we had in reality...

3, 4, 5....not counting with people wanting attention and clicks on their YouTube channels and tech websites....

How many millions of phones delivered on the 19th??

This is a non-issue.

Next....

Those are reported cases. There are a lot of people who aren't going to post on a forum about it.

Their is no design fault it's the user not taking care. Surely you would relies the iPhone 6 is thin so I'll need to take care of it.

When putting it in your front pocket when sitting down damages it, there is a design fault.

You telling me in 2014 forums are the only place to post about something like this?

You think newspapers wouldn't be scouring the Internet for cases posted on Twitter, Facebook, outside Apple stores?

Put a pen in your pocket and sit on it...

A pen costs $1.50, not $1,000.

No, I'm saying that the MacRumors forums aren't the be all and end all of where this issue might be reported.

Besides, it's incredibly naive to think that because you've only personally seen 2 or 3 people with the issue, that that is where the issue begins and ends.

I just can't fathom the apologists. If any other manufacturer had this issue, it would a case of poor phone quality, bad design, crappy materials.

But because it's apple, then it must be the user's fault, because god forbid we admit that apple may have gone too thin this time.

I've been reading about the 6 Plus bending and I have been debating getting this device, how do you stop it from bending, in your pocket?

Get a 6 instead. After reading the reports I wouldn't get a plus. The size and thinness of the plus doesn't suprise me that it could bend.

An aluminum case, for example the Spigen Neo Hybrid Metal, will not prevent the phone from bending, but it'll reinforce it.
