Actually, this doesn't seem too terrible.

iLanyard love it haha

So who wants to go in on this with me on Kickstarter? I'm a graphic designer but I could try my hand at fashion design. I like to think that I have good taste. Anybody have experience with manufacturing and logistics partners?

Nope, it bends the moment you get into bucket seats on a sports car.

Not if the pocket is deep enough that the phone is against the flat part of your leg. If it's touching your bent thigh area at all, that's when there's a problem.

Don't touch it. Touch it and it bends. It bends fast. Faster than you can believe. Don't Put it in your pocket. Don't wear tight clothes. And don't touch it. Good Luck.

People assume that bending is a strict progression of cause to effect, but *actually* from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint - it's more like a big rectangle of bendy wendy... Wibble-y wobbley... stuff.

Lmao honestly the easiest things to do are get a case or not put it in your pocket.

I'm gonna sew giant pockets on all my t-shirts

There is no case that is stiff enough to stop your phone from getting bent. Even the famous OtterBox is flexible and will allow your phone to bend with enough pressure applied to it.

Wrong. Titanium case like an element case will prevent bending. The famous otter box as you call it is plastic crap.

Simple, don't expect to put it in your pant pocket. Enjoy the large screen, but just know that expectations on pocketability need tempering.

People I know who have Samsung Notes will either carry it in their jacket or a handbag/pack of some sort. I've never seen anyone pulling a Note out of their pant pocket. This is no different than trying to park in a compact space. If you have a large SUV, you're probably better off avoiding those spots.

Go outside. They are everywhere. By the way, you just met someone that always pockets his Note 3. Hello.

I really think this is one of those "new device epidemics" that will cool down in a month or two and you won't hear much about it.

I've seen the video, and I can't imagine who could sit with the phone pressing up against their body as hard as that guy was squeezing and not feel uncomfortable and remove the phone from their pocket. I'm a girl with small tight front pockets and so I'm always removing my phone when I sit, even without a phablet, BECAUSE I CAN FEEL IT.

I do see them everywhere, I just haven't seen anyone pulling one out of a pant pocket. Always a jacket, purse, or backpack. Glad to make your acquaintance though

To be honest, I don't see many Note 3s in actual use. A few Samsung Galaxy S4s, sure. But the couple of note 3 users I've seen pretty much treated their Note's much like you would an iPad mini.

I suppose if someone buys an item that doesn't fit their lifestyle, despite being given a choice of 2 sizes, then yes, I think it's reasonable for them to change their lifestyle for the 'precious'.

Or.. Apple could, for once, let go of their fixation with slimness and make a device that'll withstand normal daily handling.

Wait for the next iPhone Plus S for steel. If you can't wait buy a solid steel case for it:apple:

I just thought of something, wasn't Apple working on a bendy phone, maybe they invented it without knowing.

The stupidity over this entire issue is mind boggling. If you are cramming and sitting in ANY phone with enough force to bend it (even aluminum) wouldn't you feel "uncomfortable". I mean really, it would be like crapping your pants and walking around like it doesn't stink. It isn't right to have a rigid phone in your pocket and you bend or sit on it with enough force to cause damage.....and then act SHOCKED when it is damaged.

I'm sorry, but unless your phone came out of the box, bent, you misused the product. Common sense goes a long way and I think the bigger issue is the current generation of people who think because they spent money on a product that it should include limitless warranties to cover their stupidity in using the product.

Is the apple case good enough protection? (It better be since I paid 50 bucks for this)

Is the case pretty pliable when it's off the phone? if it bends fairly easily, then your phone will be able to bend with it on. I have a Spigen hard shell thin case that doesn't really bend much. It's like adding a plastic back panel to the phone. Probably becomes as sturdy as a note 3 with the plastic back panel.
