Well, here are a few things, and if you don't believe me, you're wrong.

1. We are in complete control of how our lives are.

2. Our thoughts determine EVERYTHING that happens in our life.

I'll leave you with that.

See for me, it's like this.

I see all of you guys trying to unscrew a large heavy bolt, and you're turning it the wrong way, and you're telling me "Life is hard, you don't understand, it's not that easy, no bolt just comes out like that", and i'm telling you "Just turn it the other way. You'll see".

Okay, well answer me one simple question and I'll leave you alone. Imagine it is eight years from now. That girl you want to marry has found someone new. What do you do? How do you get her back? What do you think to magically get her back?

And even if what you say is right and "Our thoughts determine EVERYTHING that happens in our life," well, it's still hard for some people. So please excuse us for having lesser brains than you. We try our best to be happy, we think as positively as possible, but we just can't do it always. So good for you that you're so smart. The rest of us aren't. Don't rub it in our faces. Just say you're happy and we'll be happy for you. We get angry when you blame us for our unhappiness.

EDIT: And just so you don't think I'm just an overly bitter person, I'm not. I'm very optimistic usually, unrealistically so. But I do have a problem with people insulting me, blaming me for not having a perfect life.

I actually think that I've met the girl that I want to marry, too, and I met her when she was only 15. The difference between you and me is I have a little humility and realize that what I want might not work out exactly as I plan, but I try my best and do the best I can, come what may.

(And to answer your poll. I'm not sure. It's somewhere above half-way, but I don't know if it's by much.)

If I had gotten a Dollar for every time I was wrong about something in life when I was 15 I'd be rich now. Nobody says you can't have dreams and wishes but don't expect to know everything at 15. Everyone thinks they do, some know more than others but what unites all of them is the realization at a later age that they knew very little at the time. ;)

Just to show you how ridiculous exclusive statements like these are:

1. If I shoot you where is your control?

2. If you think and want Giselle Bundchen to go out with you does that mean she will?

I agree with you that we have more control over our lives than most people know and that positive thinking will let you achieve things never thought possible but you have a lot to learn about communication.

but, in fairness, did you know The Secret when you were 15?

I hear what you guys are saying, and i'm taking it into consideration, but at the same time, I see too clearly to be fooled. I know and understand something that you guys don't, and you need to understand that, otherwise this war will continue forever, or until I leave macrumors.

If you guys are the fish in the water, I am above the water telling you in which direction you are swimming, and you aren't believing me. I'm not arogant, just clear, and wise.

One of the best lessons I ever learned was that when you don't feel appreciated or supported somewhere, don't fight, just leave. So that's what i'm doing. I'm not leaving out of resentment or anger, i'm just leaving because It's not working for me here. I leave in peace.

You see clearer than anyone else, you don't get fooled, you understand things we don't, you think of yourself as above us and clearer and wiser than everyone else and you expect us not to believe you're arrogant?

What a load of bollocks. You're no longer worth wasting any time on.

There are a lot more "secrets" to life than just one. And knowing more about some things in life doesn't make you an expert on it. Especially when you're that immature in communicating and self-confidence. Being happy is a hard thing to do at any age and I admire everyone that has achieved that for themselves but by thinking that makes you somehow the perfect person goes to show that you're far from that.

i totally agree. and you are not crazy, or insane, or the type of person that should be put in a strait jacket and locked up to safeguard society against you, etc. you know The Secret. we cannot expect Them to understand you

I'm sorry, but I honestly started laughing when I read this post. The middle paragraph is priceless, especially when you say you're not arrogant. Apparently your enlightenment doesn't include humility.

It's especially good since it's an attempt at being all cool and collected before you leave after your outburst earlier when you were leaving MacRumors quite angry. But you are enlightened afterall, and enlightened people have to go out gracefully.

Well, have a good life. I hope you don't crash too hard when you realize how wrong you are about everything.

you're right, lots more secrets than one, but there is only one Secret.

jelloshotsrule, you are my hero. At least one person here understands me!

Actually, I retract my previous statement. This is the best part. By far. Apparently your enlightenment not only doesn't include humility, it also doesn't include the ability to know when someone is making fun of you.

Jelloshotsrule is my hero, too, but for the completely opposite reason.

Good. Since I love all of you guys, and I love everything every one of you is saying, what else is there to say?

Has he finally revealed the secret?! I'm so excited!

sadly, that is not how The Secret works. both macgeek2005 and myself would love to share The Secret with everyone, if we could. unfortunately, it is restricted by the fact that you are not Open to It. therefore, it is not up to Us to Share It, but rather up to You to Open Yourselves to the Enlightenment of The Secret.

I see. So it's gnostic in nature. Gotcha. Well, I can keep hoping one day I'll be Open to It, can't I?
