Well, here are a few things, and if you don't believe me, you're wrong.

1. We are in complete control of how our lives are.

2. Our thoughts determine EVERYTHING that happens in our life.

I'll leave you with that.

See for me, it's like this.

I see all of you guys trying to unscrew a large heavy bolt, and you're turning it the wrong way, and you're telling me "Life is hard, you don't understand, it's not that easy, no bolt just comes out like that", and i'm telling you "Just turn it the other way. You'll see".

Dude what fantasy world are you living in? Try telling that to the starving kids in Africa about thoughts controlling everything. Maybe with their thoughts they can solve the problem on their own....you know without any resources to put those "thoughts" in action. You are hilarious you know that.

You have to have a system aka govt that allows people to achieve their goals. I guess the Jews in WW2 had complete control of their lives and wanted to be in those camps by your logic right. Please how about you grow up and not be so ***** ignorant of the world. Not everyone is born in the same situation as you yet you don't seem to understand that. Stop being so dang immature

This thread is an instant MR Classic™.
Careful, vniow. I think we all need some distance before we can truly decide whether this thread deserves a place among the classics (e.g. any thread that indifference or mymemory ever participated in).

This is awesome. Here I am, or here we are, discussing LIFE with each other. I mean, I hope none of you are taking this too seriously, this is just fun! It's fun to talk to people, it's fun to share Ideas, and you know.... what's better than this? This is as good as it gets.

And to the mods, you have to admit, my threads are always the ones that are really interesting, cause alot of controversy, and go 5 pages in a matter of hours. :D

Although I'd really love to see this thread continue the way it's going, I'd like to see if anyone in the same boat as me has any suggestions.

I have things incredibly easy right now. I have no job but plenty of money saved up and I usually make a few hundred a month just fiddling around with a stock or two. I spend about 2-3 hours a day at the gym every day. Basically, I just do all the things busy people wish they had time for. But I'm almost never happy or content. I don't know if there's anything that would. The only thing that seems to do the trick is getting laid with someone hot but that's just a feeling attractive/wanted thing(on top of the goodness that is sex), but it eventually fades too.

I've tried prozac, and it was pretty good, but is there anything I could do besides drugs? I'm pretty sure it's a chemical thing, being low on serotonin and stuff but I didn't feel this way before I was 17. What the heck changed? When I was 15, I knew exactly what made me happy. Also, the rub is that I'm atheist. I really wish I wasn't but I am.

Really, I'm just excited to have played a part in a thread that's even up for consideration as a MR Classic (TM).

(Sorry, I'm a work on a PC and I don't know how to do the TM on it.)

And get closed like the last two on the subject you posted.

We don't appriciate mind games here. If that's the case then expect this one to be locked too.

And that's always good?

I hear what you guys are saying, and i'm taking it into consideration, but at the same time, I see too clearly to be fooled. I know and understand something that you guys don't, and you need to understand that, otherwise this war will continue forever, or until I leave macrumors.

If you guys are the fish in the water, I am above the water telling you in which direction you are swimming, and you aren't believing me. I'm not arogant, just clear, and wise.

One of the best lessons I ever learned was that when you don't feel appreciated or supported somewhere, don't fight, just leave. So that's what i'm doing. I'm not leaving out of resentment or anger, i'm just leaving because It's not working for me here. I leave in peace.

Go start a religion all seeing, all knowing 15 year old. Where do you get off saying you are wiser than many, many older people on these boards. Drop the attitude and yea I am a bit TO'd at you at the moment and its because of your elitist attitude. I mean you reference yourself to God for goodness' sake
