How's your battery life looking so far?

6S+ Samsung chip, used the phone like I would normally use the phone.

First time I've run the battery down this low on my 6S 128GB Verizon. TSMC chip. No low power mode, pretty much everything on and a good mix of cell and wifi.

Made it to 6 hours of usage with 50% remaining. Usage was pretty mixed, mostly wifi with an hour or so of LTE, no low power mode and Safari browser is currently at the top. Very pleased with these results. 6S+ 128

iPhone was plugged into my desktop to transfer photos for about one minute and didn't charge battery.

I'm not a heavy user, and noticed Facebook was at the top of the battery usage. I deleted and reinstalled a couple of time's, and now I'm just deleting for good. I can check on my computers.
I have the 6s+, and it seemed the battery was draining fast after the first couple of full charge. I let it get down to %20, and it seemed to take about 2 hours to charge.
It's at %56 now and I'm happy!

iPhone 6s 64GB
Took it off the charger before going to bed Saturday night. Survived until just a few minutes ago. Flight mode ON over night, low power mode turned ON all the time, screen brightness 50-70%.

6s+. This is what I'm getting pretty much all the time. I've set every battery saving feature that I've read about or thought about. My usage is similar to my 6+, and my old phone typically showed 11-12 hours usage time.

Is it clean install?

How bright do you normally keep your phone? Have you tried a charge on using the minimal brightness for your daily interactions?

I keep it between 50 to 75%: I find it hard to see at much lower than that unless it's dark. This is the same brightness level that I kept on my 6+ which had considerably better battery usage time. I've turned off push email, background app refresh, all system services except traffic, hey siri, most notifications.

6S 64GB TSMC

Overnight I usually put airplane mode on but keep wireless on I want notifications and emails if I wake up at night but no cell signal.

This was mostly installing a bunch of apps, some games, tweetbot, email, and a ton of safari. Very happy with the battery life so far. First time I kept track of it from 100 to 1% after owning 12 days. Didn't use low power mode and probably won't very often.

Yes this is odd. Battery Benchmarks show the 6s+ is much better than the 6+, but most customers are saying the 6+ was better. I know for sure that the 5s had worse battery than the 5. Maybe it's the same thing all over again.

I returned it and got a new one last night. We'll see how it goes this time. I know the new iphone will be indexing for a while, so battery life won't be great for the first day or two.

did you put the clock in a folder so the live icon doesnt use Gpu

Now I think it differ from one user to another because of how u use your 6s, some users here say it better than 6 and other said its terrible?!

I know this isn't the best that anyone has posted but this is fantastic for me. I came from the galaxy S6 edge plus and mine would've been dead and gone by now.

agh I managed to miss this thread which is where I should have posted my results, sorry to post it again in this thread but it might actually have some use here, here's what I posted earlier in a chip related thread:

okay so in a non controlled and likely terrible attempt to measure the Samsung chip and battery in real world usage on my 6s+ I've done this, I actually don't want to use my phone any more as much as I have and trying to use it as much as I have so I'm going to post my results as they are near half way battery usage then I guess you can double them and get a estimate of my final battery life with what I think is pretty heavy use for me, this is my usage with using my phone quite a bit more then I would normally without any attempt to conserve battery, background refresh is on and brightness is set to auto, I'm fed up using it so much! :p

so remember to double this as this has only used half my battery:

about 7 hours of streaming (not downloaded) music and podcasts to a local bluetooth speaker
about a half hour of youtube through safari and a half hour condensed NFL game
checked Facebook and twitter a couple of times a hour
used Facebook messenger about 3 times a hour
sent on average a couple of texts every hour
did about 25 minutes of phone calls
took about 70 photo's
used safari every so often, normal use basically, I would guess about 3-4 hours of web browsing
screen on time I would guess is about 5 hours
I also have a Apple Watch paired to my phone that I haven't used as much as I have been trying to use the phone as much as I can
I have a terrible phone signal so that will impact it, can't wait to change network!
unfortunately I haven't had time to play any games so no games are in my results, I did however increase my usage in the last 6 hours or so and spent a lot more time browsing the web, texting and using apps then is listed up above in an attempt to increase battery drain

hoping this is of some use to people :)

in regards to the 6S+ as far as I'm concerned if this is the inferior chip then the TSMC must be nearly immortal, I didn't think I could get fed up trying to use a phone too much picking it up every 5 minutes :p

I'm really impressed with it, unfortunately I didn't have time to play any games but there seems to be a big surplus of battery life for that and that was with me going out of my way to be inefficient with a long screen timeout and streaming music instead of playing it locally and anything else I could think of, I'm sure if I used the watch that would result in even less use of the phone as well, the 6S+ is really great whichever chip you have I imagine :)

since I took the screen shots and started using my phone still more then usual but what I would call moderately, basically same as earlier with less web browsing because I'm using my MBP for that my stats are now:

battery is 49%, usage is 9 hours 11 minutes, standby is 18 hours 25 minutes
