It's probably been discussed here before but which of these should be enabled? I see compass calibration is being used almost every time I open these settings. I don't really know what cell network switch does, I mean I can guess but having it on for a few days I saw no difference.
Single button in that window can drain battery quicker. The only ones that I feel are important to the general functionality of the phone are:
1)location-based iAlerts for when you want to have a reminder based on when you're leaving work or home.
2) Traffic - you report your being in the flow of traffic with others.

None of the rest of them have any use for me

my 6s does seem to be worst than my 6 and I am not sure if there are anyways to fix this "seems to be worst" thinking..

Off charge at 5am yesterday and didn't need to charge till today at 7pm

Switching data off on wifi worked a treat

Chip gate is real. Proof arrived and also how to tell what chip you have. If you have the Samsung chip you are getting less battery and more heat.

This was after working at a hotel which has terrible cell coverage is switching to 3g to LTE majority of the time. Checking facebook, instagram, surfing the net, streaming music, watching baseball high lights off at bat 15, taking photos and recording a couple of 4k video at a party after work. I guess you can say it's real life usage instead of running heavy processor related apps. (games etc). Granted this isn't a logic way of the best accurate way of finding how good your battery life, but it goes up and beyond what I ask for it to do on a daily basis (esp coming after the iphone 5s).

Just wanted to bring some positive news towards this thread and other samsung owners. Yeah we probably got the short end of the stick here, but I have been loving my phone since getting it (6s: 64 gig, verizon).

anybody having Facebook app draining battery quickly? i have disabled app background refresh but i still notice it is using more battery than normal.

I charge my 6s to 100% before bed...wake up with about 95%...

You must have background processes going on. I charge mine whilst sleeping but it's connected to a timer socket which switches off the charger after four hours (that's how long a 6S+ takes to charge with the standard power brick). When I awake the phone is usually at 99%.

Mine is Samsung chip. I am not sure if I have good battery life or not, but at least it lasts almost all day with a lot of web surfing.PS: it's iPhone 6S

That looks more than fine for a 6s and a lot of your usage was safari so it was actual screen on time, which is even better. You still have probably over an hour of usage left in the phone too.

I's say my 6s is 5-10% worse than my 6. And I have the TSMC chip.

This is somewhat subjective. I don't use the new energy saver setting and keep things pretty well cranked up. But I was hoping for a bit more juice...

Something very wrong there..

Yeah, I'm not sure what it is. I don't have the Facebook app, Background App Refresh is always off, and I set up as new when I got the phone. I plan on doing a fresh restore when 9.1 comes out or maybe some time soon.

First cycle with my 6S+ and I'm happy with these results. The 6S I returned was averaging around 6 hours of usage (managed 7 once with low power mode on the entire time). The guy @ the Apple Store told me I probably wouldn't see much of a difference with the plus. Wrong. 3-4 hours makes all the difference to me, and this is exactly where I wanted the 6S to be. Glad to see some other 6S owners are getting much better battery life than I did with mine.

mine charged just before i went to bed at 23.30 and when i woke up at 5.15am it was still at 100%

Question, I downloaded the geekbench app because someone asked me to run the battery test. Are you suppose to dim the screen as low as it goes before hand? And airplane mode too correct?

Screenshot taken last night before charging. Display brightness 50% during the whole day. I think that's very satisfying. iPhone 6s (non-plus)
