Well, it does look better than the iPhone... IMO it's the best looking smartphone out there, and it looked good before the iphone started looking like the HTC. If the HTC could run iOS I'd change...

When did the iPhone start looking like HTC? 5th gen iPod touch came out before aluminum unibody HTC One.

1st Gen: Samsung RISC ARM (iPhone/iPhone 3G)
2nd Gen: Samsung ARM Cortex-A8 SOC (iPhone 3GS)
3rd Gen: Apple A4 (iPhone 4)
4th Gen: Apple A5 (iPhone 4s)
5th Gen: Apple A6 (iPhone 5/iPhone 5c)
6th Gen: Apple A7 (iPhone 5s)
7th Gen: Apple A8 (iPhone 6/iPhone 6+)

7th.
Apple considers iPhone 6 Plus to be iPhone 7,1

Just as long as you realize this is all in your head.

iPhone and iPhone 3G are the only models that fall under the same 1st generation. Which partially explains why Apple gave iPhone (2G) buyers a rebate to get the 'fixed' 1st gen iPhone with 3G.

4/4S the only thing in common was the exterior style.
5/5S the only thing in common was the exterior style.

Each had next generation cellular transceivers, next gen SOC, etc.

Ughh it's almost as bad as that awful Blackberry ad campaign with the little cartoon toddler super heroes.

Well, iPhone never really looked like the HTC.

HTC One pretty much looks like iPad1 in my opinion - which is why I personally really like it.

i really liked the looks of the first iPad.

They are touting their front facing stereo speakers.

Is there any mobile phone (iPhone included) where the sound from the built-in speakers isn't rubbish? I don't think so. Nobody listens to it anyway. In public you can't listen to the built-in speakers because if they were loud enough that you could hear and enjoy the music you would be in trouble with everyone around you. And at home even the cheapest headphones you can buy are better than the sound from the phone.

Well, it looks like they've got the ghetto ass homie market segment thoroughly addressed...

I think they may have just lost that market...

hahaha this is awesome
come on guys lighten up
obviously this is a joke from within the office, they made it and thought for fun they should release it

They are referencing the 4.5 inch screen. (which I still think is too big for a phone.) Can we just all please go back to the iphone 3.5 inch display?

Nope. 3.5 is way too small. I held my 4s until the 6 came out. If it weren't for that I would have gone to an android that has a useable screen.

If you think HTC look like iPhone and vice versa you need eye test.

Doesn't HTC know that the iPhone 6 is the 8th generation iPhone?

At the beginning they said it took them 2 years to get what they had and then they copied 6 years later. So I'm going to guess they started to release big phones in 2009 (2 years after the iPhone) then the iPhone 6 came out 6 years later.

That was funny. And yes HTC can claim it has the best smartphone with its HTC One. That is a good looking and powerful phone. You can argue that there are better phones. But I bet even a major Apple fan would agree that HTC's best is in the top five smartphones.

Cheap and fun viral type marketing. Not another copy cat marketing of Apple and the iPhone ads. Not as good marketing, but still fun and targeted at the right audience it could help sales. I like it.

They don't know what they're up against. Hip hop legend Dr. Dre is going to put out a response track for Apple and totally crush HTC. :D
