Providing feedback to Apple about the customer experience is important. Whether they take this issue seriously seems unlikely. The first official response from the CEO is very revealing. It not only "sets the tone" but gives us a good indication of Apples values. Well known as hypocritical and manipulative, I'm not expecting to see anything effective from them. They've dug their heels in, made a few statements and are not about to admit there's a problem. The fact that Apples in the process of hiring special antenna engineers is a good indicator that the next handset update in June 2011, will most likely not suffer the same fate.

I applaud the op for giving apple feedback on his experience and thoughts, and he did so without being nasty about it. While it's true that they will probably ignore it, it is important to give both positive AND negative feedback.
