When I pay $300 for it, AND indenture myself to AT&T for 2 years, yea I think it's reasonable to expect the phone to work. And if it doesn't work I want to tell them it doesn't work, not be told lies to deflect the reality people are seeing. "Nothing to see, move along" is the basic response from Apple.
I find it amazing that after 4 versions of the phone and countless software updates, they haven't figured out how to calculate signal strength. Whoops, sorry we're new at this cell phone stuff.
If they want to give it away for free, or cheap, then no I have no right to complain, when I pay a premium for a what is marketed as a premium product, I expect premium results.
Or you can get a refund, get back your $300 and no longer be indentured to AT&T. You can spend $500 for an Evo and be indentured to Verizon. Then at least you may or may not get what you paid for.
