Next you're going to tell me it was Zagg. Image

Friendly heads up: never have bodywork done on your car by some random dude in a truck who rolls down his window and yells a quote to you in the Home Depot parking lot, and never pay for "roofing sealant" from door-to-door solicitors.

There now, you're coming out ahead on this. Image

It was called Tech Armor Ballistic something, I wasn't paying much attention to the brand or care for it after I heard the price.

I always wait until the service is done before asking the price. Just yesterday I had the oil changed in my car. $1500. Wish I would have asked ahead of time.

Howcome people actually put theirs keys and coins in the same pocket as their iPhone? I though that it would be common sense not to do that lol. I guess it's just my nature to put my iPhone in my right pocket. And only my iPhone. And my wallet in my left pocket. Although that all I ever carry lol.

We are using our brains for more important, pressing issues than which pocket to throw our keys in...

Visit the Apple Store today to buy a case for my 5s. On my way out of the store, I stop by one of those accessory kiosks and decided to buy a screen protector and have the person install it. I could never install the protector perfectly with no air bubbles.

I thought it would be $10 max, but it when the guy said $33 I had a heart attack. I gave them my money, what else could I do? I came home with a head full of steam.

Absolutely no sympathy what so ever. I always, and assumed others do as well, and who have half a brain when they buy something, is to ask how much. You did not, so shame on you, not Apple. End of story :p

I don't understand how you got the balls to cry about something that was entirely your fault. Even a child knows to ask before buying. You weren't ripped off, you were ignorant and now you think you're entitled to our sympathy.

Everyone has covered every possible point where OP went wrong. Let's all give him a break before we completely destroy the little self esteem that is left. :)

OP, everyone makes mistakes. You learned it on a cheap scale. Now you know :)

You guys are right I should've asked how much before having them install it. But being that overpriced never came to my mind. I will take it as an expensive lesson in life I guess.

I am going to try my hardest to get my money worth. On the receipt, it say unlimited lifetime warranty. I am going to get it reinstalled many many times for any stupid reasons I find.

That's right. Show them who's boss by being wasteful for 'any stupid reason you find'.

Ouch!!!...$33 for a screen protector?!. Just learn to ask next time.

No...

$10 for the protector, and $23 for expert labor as OP freely admits he can't do the proper job.

So OP, was it done properly? no bubbles? Look man, sometimes you take the car into the dealership. You know they gonna charge you, but sometimes when you want thing done BY THE BOOK, you pay.

Gouging and fraud is how many businesses now operate around the globe. Hidden fees, outrageous markups, concealed expenses. You have to watch every penny like a hawk. One of the reasons I consume less and less, and have fewer services and things.

And you will pay for the installation... get this: EVERY TIME YOU DO THAT.

Please please please ask about how the warranty works before you make another incorrect assumption (and end up getting taken advantage of again). That's what happened here after all, you didn't get ripped off, you got taken advantage of, and there is a BIG difference.

Lol:)
The installation fee is $32. But the screen protectors are unlimited for life:D

I always ask what a service or product costs before buying.

lol why would someone put screen protector on the iPhone in first place, let alone 30 bucks one?!? I never had screen protector and all my phones didnt have a single scratch.

Incorrect. I'm a fan of the Powerstroke diesel engine in Ford Super Duty trucks.. specifically the old 7.3 liters. I've owned a few. ;)

COOL someone else interested in that engine and we meet on an iPhone forum lol I highly overpaid on a rebuilt one bout 5 years ago it had a 12 month UNLIMITED mile warranty and was still strong 250,000 miles later no tellin how many it had on it before rebuild and the truck was on 320,000 when I swapped it so it had 570,000 on it and sold the truck last year for a pretty big chunk of change
