Are you sure 14 Pro cannot do this?
It’s clear in the video the 14 Pro camera does not do early as well in the given circumstances. It’s still a great photo. Apple never promised a revolutionary change from the 14 Pro to 15 Pro. In fact, it’s clear on their website, they are targeting 12 Pro users for the upgrade as many of their comparisons are the 15 Pro to 12 Pro.

It is just they want to make it look like big improvement so they compare 15 to 12. Just like how they misled 15 pro has bigger sensor but actually just compare to iPhone 15 not 14 pro.

OP should return it all, sounds like you never wanted the phone in the first place. Considering you don't even have any real world experience with the 15Pro and are just basing everything off of YouTube videos your opinion really doesn't have any real merit..

I also read posts over here. All problems I describe do have separated posts in this forum.

A lot of new reported issues today, I bought those two days ago.
This thread seems a little weird. But...
I have a new iPhone 15 Pro. I put a glass screen protector on mine (Spigen). Covers the entire face with no cutouts for the sensor pill or anything. I've had zero issues. I have a FineWoven case on it. No overheating. Got warm setting it all up (transferring from old phone, re-downloading all the apps, setting up new Watch on it), but after a few hours it was fine.

You might want to stay away from YouTube phone videos. What you noted is not really "easily" the case. The videos have misled you.
Ok, I will say that watching the videos and then actually checking out the phones told me this:

1. The issues are actually real.

2. The issues are also sensationalized (expected).

Here is the kicker - it works both ways for positive stuff and negative stuff! 🤣

I am a bit concerned that some are pushing those cooling fans that attach to the back. Those sponsored deals take at least a few days. It is not a positive sign though.

My recollection from the Apple event is the titanium is just a facade and it's Aluminium underneath. I could be wrong... it was a while ago.
The outer frame is titanium, with silver aluminum underneath. The titanium portion of the outer frame is 1mm thick before it becomes aluminum for the remaining portion of the frame.

Bought 15PM 1TB and didn’t have any problem with overhearing recording pro res 4k 60 to my nvme drive, perhaps the weather has been kind to me. Oh and I don’t use any case at all.
Screen is a bit better than my 14PM.
Battery life is worse because of the extra juice it has to share with nvme drive and the 4K 60 pro res is also taxing the cpu
Can’t say anything about longevity but so far I’m happy that my video longer fill up the internal storage so fast.

Ok I couldn’t image all of these happen in one phone:
-easily damage
-easily scratch
-easily overheat with titanium is only around 1/15 cooling of aluminium, also 3nm seem like not mature at all.
-Daily battery life is worse than 14 pro, with over heat problem, battery should die so fast
-screen brightness is worse than 14 pro, seem like this year screen quality is worse
-screen sensitive problem, not sure software or hardware problem now, can be because of cheap screen quality.

Sound like better just sell my case and screen protector to true user

I have multiple Apple stuff but this time is too much.
Are these problems you yourself have had or just things you’ve read that others have reported?

If it’s you yourself, then yeah the 15 pro may not be for you. If it’s just things you’ve read then I would take that with a grain of salt because most of those things are subjective to different users and their personal biases.

These are objective problems. I was no talking about something subjective like some people over here they have tried 15 pro or pro max and it feel cheap. Well I played the 15 pro and pro max too and honestly it does not feel like a over $1200 phone. It look and feel ok but not something high class.

My natural titanium Apple Watch Ultra without a case is still flawless after a year with daily use so I won’t be worrying about the natural titanium iPhone 15 Pro when I use it with a case.😂

So far pretty happy with the 15PM.

Battery is as good, if not better, than 14PM. And haven’t really experienced the issues mentioned here. As for scratching concerns, I’m going caseless, and it’s never been an issue. And someone here polished their to remove a scratch, and it looks perfect. So it’s even less of a concern if/when it happens.

The reports here are from a very vocal and very discerning small community. If you want it, get it. Don’t let fear get in the way. Make your own judgement after some use.

You can always resell it at a good value, or return it if still in the window.

Just don’t buy the phone then, “issues” solved. Your loss. 15PM is a great phone. I wish these YouTube influencers would all just stop posting, they are spreading like a plague. There are a few great ones, but most of them are useless and spread FUD for clicks. You are their primary target…why can’t you just try the phone for yourself and form your own opinion. Like a rational person would.

LOL. Ok man, Who's going to buy a case and screen protector? New tech may not be for you...

I love mine as do many others here. But you do what you want to do. If you wanted to upgrade and decided not to because of posts and YouTube though, you’re missing out.

Example. My phone got really hot downloading 30gb of Kindle files on wifi 6e. So of course it got hot - 6e is a strain for any device. But it hasn't acted up since, under normal use.

People take one-off instances of things they see and run to the internet to declare the worst possible things. Then another person doe that, then another - and suddenly you got a (false) narrative forming on how bad the phone is.

You'll only know by trying. 14 day return policy you know...

Are you sure 14 Pro cannot do this?
Did you even watch the video? It compares the 14 Pro and 15 Pro in night photography and concludes that the 15 Pro is much better in that scenario.

You can give an amateur the best camera in the world, and there is no guarantee that will take good photos or video with it. It is a skill. Don’t assume that hardware will make up for lack of skill.

As for “issues”, I believe that some YouTube video creators feel that they need to create issues for views. I don’t watch any of these, because they seek to manipulate you and waste your time.

Both mine and my husband’s iPhone 15 Pros are fine. A couple of glitches in the set up process but all set now. The last iPhone that I had with major problems was the XS Plus. Returned 2 of them - both due to major connectivity issues - cellular, WiFi and Bluetooth were horrendous - basically unusable. That’s the year they went with Intel modems instead Qualcomm.

I upgraded from the 12 Pro and not really huge changes but the grandkids are due for our hand-me-downs.

Night mode or whatever look exactly the same
