Imo not even worth an upgrade for series 4 and 5 users.

Oh btw, you cant even get black, silver and grey Color Apple Watch series 7 on aluminium lineup, just one less reason to bother about series 7.

No negativity from me. From what I'm seeing there isn't a huge difference in features between the 6 and 7. I'm going from a 4 to the 7, even then the only real "deal maker" for me is the always on screen and screen size.
I have a friend that updates both his iPhone and watch every year! Well whatever floats your boat
No point upgrading from a 6 to stainless 7, that's just flushing money down the toilet.
I think it remains a solid upgrade for anyone with a Series 4 or earlier. Those users get a larger screen, always on display, additional health sensors including fundamentally improved optical HR sensor and more. It is certainly more dubious from the Series 5 or 6.
I on the other hand upgrade every year, because I like to, and for me to make this feel "fresh" I'm getting for the first time ever a lighter color, Starlight, after many years of SBSS or SG. I do think the underwhelming refresh this year doesn't represent what was fully planned so I expect not to have to wait 3 full more years before the next "refresh" and I think those flat sides Apple Watch rumors may be back as soon as Series 8.

I’m sticking with my series 4 for another year. I couldn’t justify the upgrade this year. I was hoping they did the re-design thing but it’s just a no-go from my end. But yeah, as you said everything is exactly as expected. Don’t understand all the whiners canceling orders after watching the reviews. Hopefully some of you get your watches delivered sooner 😄
It only sucks for those who were counting on the slab-sided redesign. Actually it's a pretty solid update in the history of Apple Watch updates. I'm going to upgrade from a 4 to a 7.
It’s probably the smallest year over year update AW has ever had. But it’ll still be a great upgrade from a series 4.
and the slab design was awful. Can’t believe so many wanted that.
I’m going to upgrade from the 5. All the 5 brings with over the 4 is AOD and compass. I’ll get newer health sensors, faster charging and 20% faster cpu speed plus all the other minor features. Can’t wait!

I have a 4 and need the bike workout enhancements. All the other new stuff is gravy. From a 6 I’d say no way. Even the colors this year are meh. No purple?
