I can understand not wanting the 7. Sold my 6 before the September event and went back to my Series 3.. Even going from 6 to 3 I didn't miss any of the features on the 6 except the speed/responsiveness and always on display.

Lmao go off, Ben 😂

Tbh it's not really worth an upgrade from the 6, not sure why you would have ordered in the first place. For anyone coming from a 4 or before, it's worth the price.

I'm still on series 3. Works like a charm and battery lasts 3 days or so.
Every gen I'm saying I'm switching on the next but here I am already waiting for 8 lol.

I've not used it. I was just making a joke. Still have my pre-order and looking forward to it! :)
I figured as much but couldn’t resist to give you a hard time 😜
Hope you’re gonna be one of the few ( if one believes the MR folks) who will actually enjoy the S7!

The Problem is, you have people on this site who upgrade every single year, where they don’t appreciate and/or overlook the changes that were made. Apple’s target demographic is not people on this site who upgrade yearly, it’s the consumers that upgrade every 2-3 years. Anybody upgrading from an S4 for example, will absolutely appreciate the differences with the S7.

Yeah, the changes are definitely not as big as the iPhone changes at the same point in their lifecycle. OTOH, I really like my titanium Series 5, and don't have any big wishes except for better battery life and more reliable complications.

Imagine buying the series 6 and buying the 7 a year later . I hate to see what your auto loan situation is I assume you change cars before you have to fill it up with gas.

Lol you might be on to something. I sold my series 6 right before the September event and am getting the 7. Sold a 2022 car I owned for a month (only one tank in it 🤣) for a nicer 2021 car and ordered a 2022 version of the 2021 car I purchased.

I got the S7 a year after the S6, I know you're exaggerating but still, we're talking about a $399 item here since I go base model each year. Apple gave me $210 for my S6 so it isn't that obscene.

It was pretty clear that this was going to be an iterative update so I don’t know what people were expecting.

Anyone who was on the fence would’ve received their deliveries from Apple, tested it out for themselves and returned it within 14 days if it wasn’t meeting their expectation.

Dramatising it in a meaningless thread is just - well - meaningless.

This screenshot off one of the review videos shows the bigger display of the S7 vs the S6. Pretty big difference to my eyes.
