How do we know the SG bezel won't scratch?

Its the micro scratches that will just make the chrome untidy, I would be shocked if micro scratches on the SG were even noticeable.

No change or keys in your pocket you naked silver users.

The fact that apple sent all reviewers a silver unit, says all

That it looks better in photographs you mean? Kinda essential for the media right?

A Black slab might not look great in photos but I have a hunch in real life its a whole different ball game. Silver lovers might well be SG envious in a few months time.

There's nothing like seeing someone really proud of their color choice. And how they manage to actually look down on the other color.

(I'm just bitter as silver seems to be wining :( )

I'll go now....

Last year the Jet black iPhone had me salivating. It too was objectively the best looking iPhone. I still went with the Silver iPhone 7 though because Im a silver person.

Where are the SG versions? It's like no one wants to show them in the real world.

I expect the opposite. The SG scratches will look... silver. The silver scratches can be buffed out. THat's how it works with the stainles apple watches anyway. Granted their SB watch is MUCH more scratch resistant with the DLC.

This is a gorgeous, beautiful device. If not the best, at least up there with the finest Apple designs of all time. The silver is the way to go, best of both worlds: Stainless steel reminiscent of the first iPhone, white background yet black front bezel. It just makes for a stunning tri-tone design.

Picks up fingerprints just by looking at it however. Bit of a change coming from the matte black 7+

iOS 11.1 upgrade was part of the boot process. First time I've seen that. Face ID was incredibly fast to set up. Especially compared to the tap tap tap drudgery of Touch ID. The screen is incredible. The Hello screen looked like it was printed on top. And yes, I've already done my first phantom home button click.

So I've been playing around with it and comparing it to my 7+.

I noticed that with True Tone on, the screen seems to be very yellow. Is that normal for OLED or are we just used to the LCD colours on the 7/8/+?

Micro scratches will 100% not look silver on the space grey, you've got to get deep to get the silver out I'm sure.

Come on, we know everybody doing to put a giant case on their X, so the only thing that matters is which color is going to ship faster!

It's killing me to see this post knowing that my iPhone X won't arrive sooner than November 20-27th. It looks amazing. I can't wait to get mine.
Shipping times are getting shorter. Hopefully you get yours before November 20.

Whichever color you like best is the best for you. I have the space black 7 but ordered the silver X. I should get mine within a couple of weeks (hopefully next week as my card just got charged). I like to mix things up. My MacBook and iPad are rose gold.
