Works fine there too. Sometimes you might have to do a double-tap as the first tap might not be exactly on the status bar and instead might simply bring up the address/search bar, but for the most part even that's not needed.Safari mostly

So even double-tapping (quickly) on the status bar at the top (let's say right in the middle on the time) doesn't take you to the top of the page in Safari? Is that consistent, or only occasional in Safari? Is it just fine in other apps?Yeah not working at all. What could it be?

Then something isn't right. Have you tried just restarting the phone to see if that might sort it out? Other than that, perhaps trying to reset some settings might do it.No, doesn't work ever in any apps. What could be conflicting?
Ya hopefully. I'm gonna start messin around w tweaks, deleting them one at a time. Then something isn't right. Have you tried just restarting the phone to see if that might sort it out? Other than that, perhaps trying to reset some settings might do it.
On the other hand, based on various posts you've made, it seems that you are jailbroken, in which case it could really be any number of tweaks or something else even that could potentially be interfering or causing issues of one type or another.

Have you also noticed how message notifications in lock screen are way smaller now and almost impossible to slide to open on the first try?? Wtf, so annoying.
They are the same size for me and are perfectly easy to slide on the first try.
Perhaps jailbreak tweaks are causing the issues for you.
Just measured. Almost exactly the same size.
How can you say that? The green Message icon in iOS 7 is MUCH smaller than in iOS 6. Look at the pictures!!
The slideable space is just as big. In iOS 7, you don't just have to slide on the messages icon. You can slide anywhere in that space, down to where it says slide to reply.
No, it only works when I grab the icon.
Not sure what to tell you. On both my 5s, my fiancées 4s, and coworkers phones (4s's, 5's and 5s's), it works by swiping anywhere on the message.
I suggest you practice. Either way, it works. But you can go ahead and continue doubting my credibility.
No I believe you I'll keep trying, but you can't say that the icon is the same size. I hope you're right about being able to swipe anywhere.
Regardless, why do you think they made if smaller? People are used to having to grab the icon.

I never said the icon was the same size. The area you can swipe, however, is. Obviously they're moving towards a more minimalistic style, the smaller icon goes along with that. People get used to change.
Bingo, the icon is smaller, but that doesn't really matter as far as actual usability given that the whole notification itself can be and is used to slide over, and that whole notification isn't really smaller (and actually can seem a bit larger even). As it stands, it's easier to swipe on lock screen notifications with iOS 7.
iOS 7 has many shortcomings vs iOS 6, but this isn't one of them. Move on.
Anyone else agree? The animations are aesthetically pleasing but slow the phone down significantly, specifically opening and closing apps and navigating Safari. It's laggy and choppy/strobey like older droids.
Another thing is does anyone notice it's a lot less responsive? The keyboard, clicking "buttons" and links. I find myself hitting things multiple times to get a response.
