Like I really care as much as Jobs did three weeks ago...

All this proves is that Zagg is smart enough to profit off of people stupid enough to think they need this in order for their phone to work. Good for them, if people think they need this then they deserve to have to pay more. Your argument is falling apart again, probably time to resort to posting photos of the guy in the Apple leotard again.

You guys are too funny. I had a 2G, 3G and 3GS before my 4. No one has reported "death grip" issues after several years and tens of millions of users. Now the iPhone 4 develops an incredibly easy to reproduce reception issue and you all go so far to defend Apple that you claim it has existed all along. I'm sure it was just coincidence that this issue popped up within a day of release of the first iPhone with an external antenna!

Gotta love the Steve Jobs apologists! Keep up the good work boys!

Is this you?

The iP4 has so many bugs in it, hard to believe it took 3 weeks to come out with a software update, the only thing it did was show the correct signal, not the inflated one they've been showing for all these years!
I think apple (SJ) just gave a big FU to all their customers. The press conference was a joke. SJ was not happy to be there (I don't blame him, but it's his fault).
a) He never said they would actually fix anything the right way (hardware). b) He brought other phone companies into his problem.
c) He tried to placate the masses by giving something away for free (band-aid).
d) He told you how much money they spent on a test chamber (hope they get their money back, it didn't work) and on new stores.
e) He briefly said they were "hopefully" going to get a software update to fix the major problem that is on every phone, the proximity sensor. (~28 min into the video)

Here is why I returned mine, and now I'm using my 3gs again. I'll be looking for something else after apple resets my contract. Maybe I'll buy another iPhone in the future, I don't know.
1) Proximity sensor, I hated to even pick the phone up to make/receive a call because I knew I would be hitting the screen with my face.
2) The signal would drop just laying it my hand, in landscape mode. The signal drop in no big deal (even SJ said they all do it). BUT, when the signal dropped, the data rate would go to zero. Without data transfer you can't do anything.
3) Bluetooth was very poor. I have a speaker/mic set up in the car. Sometimes it would never recognize it, but most of the time it connected. Almost every call I was on people said it sounded bad (never on my 3gs).
4) Wireless signal fluctuated in my house. Never had that problem before.

After all that, the iP4 is a great gadget. It was alot of fun to "play with", but it failed miserably as a PHONE.

If my iphone 4 had these issues, I'd probably be pretty keen on something else.

However, mine took a couple tried to get a spot free screen, but thbe functionality of the deice is amazing.

My calls are crisper, clearer and overall more enjoyable than my 3G, GS, BB Curve, and Sidekick (T-Mobile days).

Speed, speed, speed. The phone is a rocket as far as browsing and app performance. The multitasking is supported very well, and for me runs flawlessly.

Battery life is like a dream. Wifi connects nicely in home and in hotspot range. I don't have a bluetooth need so I won't speak on it's abilities.

What I'm getting at is that there ARE iPhone 4's that are surpassing people's expectations. Did you get a lemon? Maybe so. However with the list of issues you experience, surely a replacement would be granted. It's worth a shot, because really, I'd hate for anyone to miss out on this experience.

Yeah, because dropping a call is completely new to iPhone 4 and it's never happened on previous models. The death grip issue was reported on previous models it just didn't gather as much attention, probably because people could't jump to the conclusion that it was due to the antenna being outside, now they can.

And yes we all love being Steve Jobs apologists, 3 Million strong and still growing everyday.:D
