Do think it bothers me day to day that my iPhone 8+ has a technically inferior screen to the current OLED models? Of course it doesn’t and that’s because the screen is good enough. People aren’t directly comparing and sucked in to paying the premium when the reality is Apple sell devices with very good LCD screens. I know a few people who have gone from the iPhone X to the iPhone 11 when upgrading and not been bothered. So why are you so bothered and others not?

I have the 11 Pro but still have my 8. I find myself switching to the 8 more often because of the much preferred form factor. I do notice the screen a little between the 11 Pro and 8 but it’s not a significant difference to me. The 8 screen is good for me. I don’t know what it is but the 11 Pro screen is harder on my eyes.

The 11 pro is .22” taller than the 8 and a little wider.

Man I wish Apple would make a model with the 8 chassis / form factor. To me that .22” in height and the width makes a huge difference. Even through the 11 Pro isn’t considered a big phone these days it’s too big for me. The only big problem for me with the 8 is the battery life really sucks compared to the 11 Pro.
